Everything about this is just downright cute, from the animation, to the song, to the lyrics. I couldn't have asked for more. I just wish I'd share this kind of affection with someone someday, it would be nice. :>

This song is for my friend who is currently fighting for her life. She was diagnosed with SLE last year. I've always been the type of person to always want to say the right words when bad things happen. But right now, as my friend is lying in that hospital bed, I have no words. I can't say anything that might have the possibility of making her situation better. She's one of the few people that feels like home to me and I'm not saying this just because I might lose her any day now. I wish she'd wake up and call me and tell me that everything is fine. I can't tell my friends that I'm struggling because I was used to being the one people turn to and I don't know how to tell people that I'm not okay, that I can't sleep or eat or just let my mind wander to our happy memories because it might trigger something. I miss her. And the sad thing is I've been a bad friend. I didn't text her or call her enough. I was busy with my own small word I forgot that she was fighting for her life since her diagnosis. I don't know why I'm writing this here perhaps because I have no one to turn to and writing about it somehow helps.
