As a transgender dude (a dude without a dick) the joke doesn’t really bother me. I used to be really sensitive about these sorts of things, but when I decided that I needed to transition I made the conscious effort to stop being so sensitive to that shit because the area I was living in didn’t have a very good opinion of trans people. Like Ethan said, if I got offended by every trans joke I saw I would just be a lazy sack of shit lying in bed all day being sorry for myself.

In todays world, people are too sensitive and like to milk everything that could be seen as mildy offensive even though it is blatantly a joke. I used to be so OCD I literally almost died several times.
For me I hated urinating since I have neurogenic bladder, requiring a catheter to go at times... SO I'd go about 2 or 3 days without any liquid, even factoring in soup to keep out. Then I'd drink at the point where I felt I was about to pass out.
It took me 11 years to beat that stupid OCD ritual. For those who don't know, it isn't simply about cleaning. OCD can involve anything, it's just that the most common is cleanliness & also thats the kind most often depicted on TV.
I even had OCD catheter rituals where instead of cathing once, I'd do it, wait until it stops draining, pull out, re apply lube, insert again (this went over 10 times & yeah it hurt, especially with my narrow urethra & prostate squeezing more than most men).
If i didn't have this extremely strong immune system back then (caused an autoimmune disease, that strong) I'd have likely had an infection many times.
There's other OCD hurdles & rituals I eventually overcame but it's mainly the water one.
I tried counseling, really went all in hoping they could help, but nah. In fact I was threatened with being locked up in a psych ward for the 2nd time in my life because they assumed that, despite what I said, I was trying to kill myself. Fortunately my insurance had just gone away, so I couldn't be admitted.
