Actually, there's a whole cottage industry surrounding people wanting to hear about celebrity problems. More to the point at hand though, it also depends on the medium. Since KRplus punishes people for not posting at least 5 days a week there is no hiatus so people push themselves until they don't have much left and have to take extended breaks. This medium also all but requires more intimate mixture of the person's life so I think them talking about their feelings is part of it.

I’ve been I unsubbed for awhile. The quality of the content on this channel has drastically dropped. The podcast is ok when they actually have a guest on that I’m interested in. But yeah, it’s not the H3h3 we used to know and love anymore. It’s evident that at this point it’s more about whatever brings in the most money more than anything.
They have become unfunny too. The jokes (or what are meant to be jokes)are just really unfunny and bland. What used to be a creative and hilarious channel has turned into a place where they can squeeze money out of fans

Rogan's works because he's a genuinely interesting guy and brings on an incredibly diverse lineup of guests.
