Your bell pepper story reminds me of a pretty bad time when my mom, her abusive boyfriend, my sister and me were living in a trailer with no power or water, it was the middle of the summer.
We had nothing to eat, and my mom and my sister and I walked to find a gas station to find some cheap snacks. Me and my sister had to share a tiny 50 cent bag of sunflower seeds. That was all we had that day, and it hit SO hard that we were counting sunflower seeds to split amongst each other because we didn't have any food. It gets better though.
Honestly one of the most heartfelt stories I’ve ever heard. I was recently cheated on and had my heartbroken with my bride to be, which ended in the wedding being called off and losing our home and love for one another. I’ve been in a really dark place since that and to be honest, started to think love is just a lie. Listening to your story has given me newfound hope. I hope to one day meet my own soulmate just as you two have done. Thank you for sharing this and I have so much respect for the both of you, truly inspiring and one of a kind.

My Dad died of cancer in October, during his last weeks he would say (he couldn't speak he has a tumour in his throat) that "Your mum is the only person I have ever truly loved". They would always talk about how it was love at first sight. They were engaged 2 months after they met. and were together for 22 years.
