- KRplus has announce that it has plans to "optimize" the subfeed, which means they will stop showing videos there in chronological order and instead show you in a "personalized order". My fear is this is the final step in removing any control users have over content they see which will ultimately lead to the ruin of the platform.

You can tell trending is garbage by the fact that it only has about 2 videos that you actually think would be interesting. The community of KRplus is usually split into 3 chategories: comedy/vlogging, DIY, and gaming. You should be able to find around 10 videos you enjoy on trending, just because that’s how most users consume content, but since it is a huge advertisement you see none.

KRplus really, *really* needs a competitor right now.
Seriously, that's the reason that some of its users (especially the KRplusrs left like Filthy Frank), it's been going like crap for years now. Since 2013, when they changed the layout it is the beginning of an end of this site. Why, it's because the comment section nowadays becomes a cesspool of hateful and cringy comments. When they put out the first nail, is the severely flawed Content ID system that ruined the subs of all youtubers and shoving us Google+ all over our faces.
It's now 2018, from the new update after the Logan Paul incident. When you need 1000 subs & 4000 hours of watchtime. Choking all of the smaller channels out of the window, that they have so much potential in the site. Also, most youtubers i've watched last their membership because of that. I really hope someone out there that it can put an end of once respected and our entertainment site called KRplus to hell.

I love the sub feed for being chronological. If I want to see what KRplus recommends to me, I'll go to the home tab.
KRplus doesn't care about content creators or KRplusrs. They care about getting views from external sources, like Google search results and viral Twitter and Facebook links.
Sadly, KRplus had to do it to 'em. They are desperately trying to cash in as fast as possible since it has been unprofitable for years. Google gave them a time to become profitable and since they still really aren't, they have to pull this bullshit. RIP maybe amazon will make a competitor.

I don't think I've ever looked at the sub feed in the entire time I've watched KRplus. When I do, it's for like a second & I leave it alone cause I couldn't even figure out what was going on with it before. I've always just gone to a channel & added videos I haven't watched to my Watch Later playlist. It's a bit more effort but I can be guaranteed I'll be watching what I want, in chronological order & still keeping up. Like this video.

I don't think so. In that case, regardless if THEY want to watch your content, if ANOTHER channel has more watchtime than yours it will get on top of your subfeed, and not your channel, even if that 'more popular' channel is only set up to give you occasional feed.
I don't even use subscriptions anymore honestly, recommended videos are way better. I get recommended videos that have tiny amounts of views, and I rarely get recommended things I don't end up liking.
Recently, I have been unable to see your content in my feed. I just decided to check in on the channel today. This video is the first I see that I haven't watched, in addition to a few other new videos from you. Why didn't these ever show up in my feed?! Leave me and my subs alone, KRplus!

I've noticed this, it's a pain. Keep getting old videos I've watched before and can't find the newest ones except I navigate to each content creators page independently, a pain and makes youtube a headache to use.
Imagine if you subscribed to like ten magazines, but only a few of them actually showed up every month because they didn't think the others were 'relevant' to you. And they kept bombarding you with promos for magazines they think are 'relevant' to you but which really just make them the most money in ad revenue.

To be honest, subscription box is like 95% of how I use KRplus...of course I want to watch content that I subscribed to, those are my interests. Other 5% is probably 4.9% clicking on a related video since they are really great sometimes and that 0.1% is when I click on a video on homepage. Homepage is cancer.
If they "optimize" the subscription box there will probably be videos that I will never see that are maybe uploaded like 12 hours ago because they will be showing me videos from 3 days ago for some reason and that more recent video will just somehow disappear. Facebook and instagram is like that where I see content from 2-3 days ago....
Thing is I've never been notified of this video to begin with, which is why I'm only watching it two weeks after it came out

IDK if this is a part of it but when i opened youtube I only saw a row of 'sports highlights' topic and 1 advert on top of the page. When I refreshed it went back to normal with usual content in my sub boxes. Might be worth stating but I have never watched a sporting video
