I've caught my kid watching one of these videos a few times. The people who make those videos probably put as many popular characters in the videos as they can so that they can tag all the characters in the video. Sometimes they would throw in a nursery rhyme in the background so that will get tagged too. That way there is a higher chance that their videos will show up in the recommended section when little kids watch videos of their favorite characters or nursery rhymes.

I think get curious about shit like this even though they aren't sexually active yet. It's like I remember being 5 and being like, "I saw your underwear!" Or whatever. yeah, good to see ethan and hila are still around and successful even, but I do miss the 2015-17 style. That these videos had a more laid-back, "just hanging out" atmosphere made h3h3 a good "comfort"-youtuber, so to speak
