This is the most honest and upfront advice I've heard.

Best advice I ever heard for a guy.
This is pretty much the only valid advice for guys in their teens who are not good looking or born rich. No looks + no money = no girls (at least not the hot ones anyway). So what do you do? Literally what Ethan said: if you're not fuckable, then *MAKE YOURSELF FUCKABLE* by thinking in the long run! You can't change your face, but you can change your body by hitting the gym (hard!), and you can't change your financial situation because you're just a kid, so start hitting the books (even harder!) and major in any STEM field so that you can get a well-payed job.
And the #1 rule while doing that is *DON'T CHASE AFTER GIRLS!* Many average guys (with little or no experience with girls) have lost sight of their goal because they invested too much time (ignored their workout and studies) into a fleeting relationship, got dumped and heartbroken, and never recovered (I was almost one of them, but luckily I had good friends to bring me back on track). That doesn't mean to flat out reject girls coming your way: if they come to you -- great, but don't let them wrap you around their finger.
Don't get me wrong, this is not some misogynist advice or whatever, but rather a harsh reality that ugly/plain-looking, middle-class, young guys are living every day. And the only way out of that hell is to simply say fuck it and set a high goal to success (the earlier the better) and never lose sight of it. After you succeed, it's all smooth sailing from there :)
