Wow
Can you please collab with slow mo guys and do an episode where you record a massive load of your projects in super slow mo
🔴Can you try forging with the heaviest Thor's Hammer🔨🔴
How much would one of these hammers weigh if it was made with Corium? It's the super dense material that is the result of a melted down uranium-fueled nuclear reactor. (sounds like something Bruce/The Hulk would work with Thor to make)
The whole Rick white scientist coat getup gets me 😂
Guy: It’s time to work out!
“But you don’t have any lifting weights!”
Guy: **Takes out the Thor Hammer Kettlebell set**
Is this guy chris hemsworth cause i feel like he he gets the entire roleplay aspect of things in his workouts too
@DON'T CLICK THIS VIDEO you're right I didn't, begone.
@DON'T CLICK THIS VIDEO you're right I didn't, begone.
I am genuinely impressed at how many of them could judge their own strength correctly
They do have a gym in the office so....
They could go into the gym, test their strength and come back
The gummy is worthy lol 😂 🔨
The fact that there's money involved makes makes people a bit more likely to play it safe I think
I am genuinely impressed with that black chair.
Its always nice to see James and Ian working on projects together.
I love how you can actually track the progress of how much each employee has improved their fitness.
I know it's supposed to be the hammers that peak your interests, but that 2nd chair you broke was very high quality.
Indeed! I'm really curious what brand that is...
My thoughts too, I was like "I kinda need this chair" lol
@@avianblade You and me both, I want to know where they got it from.
Same here
Yes, really strong chair!
It is nostalgic as someone who has followed this channel since years to remember how little tech , machines, support and not to mention subs this channel used to have in the beginning compared to now a days. Really makes me happy to see you guys were able to make the thing you love into a successful project.
It truly is
aye man, love the profile pic! I don't see TTGL fans often!
Crypto trading is very lucrative way of making money now
My investment in stocks and crypto are really doing well especially crypto given the current increase.
No doubt Mr Nicholas is very good, I invested $5000 and cashed out $28,800 after 7days, I still wonder how he get his analysis
I've been subbed since you guys barely had 500k and the evolution of this channel keeps surprising me. Keep up the good work!
I feel that the handling of the hammer would change depending on where the weight gets distributed in the hammer. There might be room for improvement there. Maybe mixing heavy and lightweight metals to fill out the hammer evenly
The power loader is an actual useful tool for big and heavy things you guys should make more mechs
as much as it would be cool for them to make more, its very expensive and took a while for just one to be made
Unfortunately they are crazy expensive to build. Maybe eventually they will build another one, but not for a while at least
@@BamsyTheSergal It took like 7 years didn't it lol
Hear me out, same mech but with a Thor hammer launcher
@@popninja8658 only took 3 years, and in that 3 years we only worked on it for about 1.5 while we waited for funding
Not that I dislike the other styles by any means, but I especially love the videos like this that are a bit less scripted and story-driven. We really get to see how fun the environment is and how, despite how much you've grown into a business, it's still a bunch of friends who love to experiment and be curious!
Hacksmith : Are you worthy?
Wooden plate : yes
Hacksmith should build a terminator programmed to get a red bib that the Hacksmith will wear. The HACKSMITH can use any of his builds he has made over all the years to defeat the terminator and prevent it from getting the bib. That would be awesome! Who agrees?
If you wish for more companies like this to treat all their employees to a nice bonus before Christmas with a fun little game giving everyone their moment in the spotlight and allowed the recognition that they so rightly deserve then this video should be the most liked video on KRplus
I love how supportive everyone was whatever weight was chosen
I haven't watched this guy for a long time
He's still as good as ever
0:05 That trampoline one hurt my eyes XD
When are you guys and @SlowMoGuys gonna get together 👀
Id love to see that
Ye I want them to collab and film a massive amount of hacksmith projects in slow mo
I had this same thought and it’s exactly why I wanted to check comments and see if someone else already said my thought 😂😂
I was expecting slow mo guys to reply to this comment
cant wait!
I like how you involved the people who help make videos with you
You should do something like this more often
This is the golden age.
Where big kids can have a warehouse space and do fun and dangerous shit for their own amusement.
Reminds me of the Simpson's episode 'Homers enemy' when Bart gets hits own factory and he hires Millhouse.
Ian getting yeeted through time and space after the teeter totter was amazing. I’ve not laughed that hard at randomness in a while 😂❤
13:33 "damn right that's cheating!" He's so proud of himself it's great. Good job everyone!
Seeing james and ian work together is always a sight to behold
Yeah, they have been together since before the caps shield haven't they?
"How many layers of glass do you need to stop Thor's hammer?" A 'destructive prodject' like this might just be interesting!
15:20 Now imagine being able to properly _wield_ that hammer, but several times as heavy because it's alien metal.
No wonder thor hits so hard.
It's only 42.3 pounds. The hammer isn't insanely heavy it just has the property that stops people from using it unless they are worthy.
In norse mythology, Thor's hammer was so short, due to the fact that Loki messed with the dwarves making it. You should make a full size mjolnir! Imagine how much more potential you would get out of it! The power!
Twice the size?
The hammer head itself was full size, Loki messed with the dwarves when they were doing the handle and it came out short, hence why it’s 1h and not a proper 2h warhammer. That being said Loki still lost that wager and nearly had his head taken off (and ended up having his lips sown shut as compensation since he tricked them to literally save his neck).
@@swrodgon Props for the Mythology win! I love all these old stories!
Next time you get the chance, you should drop your heaviest hammer right onto the normal floor, with enough force that it may leave a hammer outline. Just next to it, have a plaque saying "Thor was upset because we ran out of pancakes"
I am curious, you have made an ironman suit... How about Ultron xD
PS I love your vids! Keep up the great work!
As an amateur woodworker, seeing those few pieces of real wood furniture smashed like that kind of hurt. It can sometimes be hard to find furniture made out of actual whole wood anymore. Everything is OSB and MDF.
I like how you included the people who help you make videos in the process. You should do this more often.
It’s great seeing Hacksmith use Mjolnir without it looking like it’s about to break apart
Hacksmith 50 years from now: makes a literal time traveling tesseract
Man idk but this is absolutely about 1 of the best videos ever idk I was just thinking bout forging a thor hammer and well here we r watching yeah throw 1 around that's like 100lbs haha freaking awesome
I think the power loader is worthy
A
Egon!
D
16:59 made me like the video
My favorite hobby, smashing things! Besides relaxingly painting miniatures.
With Hacksmith anyone can become Thor
13:28 IMO not cheating, If anything many others held theirs in an incorrect posture because the hammer would force their hand into the wrong position, he 100% did the Thor pose, hammer end high and proud.
I love the casual atmosphere in this video! It would be great to see more like it in the future.
That black chair is the true MVP of this video!
Also, maybe not a great idea to leave all the cinder blocks under that trampoline when jumping on it... :P
Love that the power loader came in! Hope we see CAT power loader production start soon lmao!
I don't think using the straps is cheating considering Thor uses the straps a lot.
I love how everyone was involved and looked like they had a great time too
Reminds me of the Thomas Inch dumbbell. Handle was so thick only a few were ever able to lift it. Maybe a wider handle will make it hard to lift
The one gonna deliver this hammers ,must be thor himself.
This is just amazing. These guys are literal costume and model legends
I love that they don’t even try to swing the hammer, they just kinda lift it and let it fall, they know their abilities
Unrelated, who is the strongest on the team overall?
AMAZING! This episode was so good and hilarious 😂 👏🏻👌🏻😎 More please 😊
I'd love to see you guys have the power loader wield some of your heavier projects, like the thanoscopter and Storm breaker, among others
Is always amazing to see the power loader cooperating in the videos
I like how they can also use the power loader for heavy duty lifting and stuff
17:07 yer standin' awful close to that flying cinderblock.
Obviously infeasible, but imagine how interesting it would be to test these in microgravity. They wouldn't weigh anything, but they would have sooo much more inertia than you would expect.
I wonder if you could test it on one of those airplanes that simulate micro-gravity .
i highly doubt the insurance costs would be worth it; that thing might be able to depressurize the plane.
You should make some power-loader sized weapons to use with it, it would be fun to see what kinda things you could do
With great power loader comes great waxed hacksmith, unless the Vikings takes the win! Go and help this man's chest hair!
what
what
What
What
What
Love the team atmosphere in this vid 💪🏻💪🏻
The hammer tore through that glass like the wrath of a god.
The 80lbs one is way harder to lift that the 155 dumbell because of the weight imbalance
Too right, the 150 would allow you to push through the weight, without putting any rotational forces on your wrist.
Would’ve gone for the 150, with it being a dumbbell shape it would make balance so much easier 🤷🏻♂️
😂
Yeah, I bet most can't press 150 with both hands much less one
My son has bought me one of these hammers for Christmas now I know how to dismantle it I'll try and make it heavier than it originally is thanks for this video @Hacksmith
This is the most fun anxiety I ever had
Lol I love how he always says do not try this at home! Yes of course we have tons of led and machinery!lol!
In order to see pyrex breaking after too much heat was applied to it you need 300.000 fps. If you got to 300.000 you'll be able to see the glass cracking as not one instantaneous thing but as something that moves slow enough to observe
That padded chair was really impressive, lol.
I want to see more practical projects and fewer Smashy projects. Interesting to see the work that goes into engineering these things.
We do 52 projects a year, they aren't even 10% smashy...
This is what we like, proper original hack smith content, Keep it up!
Not that I don't love the entire team, but it's nice to see just James and Ian doing a build, like it started. EDIT: Yeah I know you do tons of stuff behind the scenes and still test stuff.
It's basically Mythological Thors hammer. Just incredibly heavy.
This feels like one of those cooking shows.
Hacksmith: If the Romans win I’ll get my chest waxed…by the Powerloader.
Please don’t let them win.
Me: I see this as an absolute win!
I think James misunderstands his audience lol. Everyone is going to go join the Romans in order to see that
I was suprised to see Ian lift around 70kg so effortlessly, impressive 😅
70lbs
If it’s KG,it would be 35KG.
Heeey, so happy about the reply 😊 many greetings from a huge fan from germany 💪🏼
I was actually talking about the 'thor-dumbbell' which he deadlifted on the table 😁
Can we just appreciate how strong this chair was 15:30
One of the best videos yet
I'm concerned not one of them thought about a helmet during the strength test.
Hey Hacksmith you should invite the JustDustin crew over for the "Are you worthy" test for cash. I want to see Trent lift the double hammer.
I’m convinced they could be the guide to the future
Tempered glass, I stronk.
Hammer, hold my beer.
Whosoever holds this hammer. If he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.
Thor the son of oden
Anyone else still wondering if we’ll get the test videos for the extreme skateboard and winter soldier sleeve?
I’ve been waiting for the Winter soldier sleeve
extreme skateboard was deemed to dangerous haha. not worth breaking bones for a video
winter soldier sleeve... my hand still cant close a fist.
@@duckonatruck8541 I care
@@theHacksmith lol , ask a mountain board KRplusr, i 've been waiting for the test to decide if I find it op enough, or if it needs 4motors
And a towing test, low speed=low chance of injury
i love how the dude did the cat star jump spin thingy
I think this guy can change the world
You should totally use the power loader more often in your videos like here. Even having it in the background makes your videos 20X more badass.
100% correct!
It'd be interesting to see you guys make a forged version of this hammer.
15:55
In video: yeaaahh
In my heart: nooo. I was dreaming that
the table is the only one true worthy, sustaining all that weight
This is my favourite channel. I especially like it when you explain everything so nicely. I wish you a lot of success with the channel and happy life.
What it feels like to dominate your enemies in Rise of Kingdoms: 20:37
Honestly that edit out of now where made me bust out laughing 😂
I would have had to attempt the heavyset one just for content. But would have to warm up first so I don’t hurt myself.
18:42 I understood that reference
A N O T H E R
@Hacksmith I want one of these hammers! You guys just build great things! Greeting from Germany!
you know what they say "With great mass, comes great destructive potential"
Jest cool 😎
ayo first comment
Strong busking vibes in this episode. Like it.
At this point I'm convinced you're the people Thor went to for his hammer
20:18 the best yell🤣
This proves how strong those dining room chairs are
Concrete : gets obliterated
Gummy bear & chair : WEAK!
Still hoping to see Hafthor walk in
Video: thors hammer
Everyone: CHAIR
