      @@Synthmilk So tanks that have their values like armor thickness, engine power, top speed, etc or the modules they use changed every few updates is historically accurate? Yeaaaaaah.
      Just take a look at the M24 chaffee: In real life, it had a 220hp engine and could travel at 40 km/h offroad. In WoT? 500hp and 62 km/h... Totally accurate.
      Or the Panhard EBR. RL: 200hp. Ingame: 560...
      T28 Superheavy/T95: top speed of 13 km/h. Ingame? 20.
      Basically every tank was drastically altered to fit into the game, good luck finding one where the exact ingame stats exactly match the ones it has in real life.

    Hey, i got an idea. Make some new wheels and treads for the cybertruck. I suggest using the reconfigurable wheel track system developed at MIT for darpa's GROUND X VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM. They can go from circular wheels and shift into a triangular track system. The tires are replaced with hinged treads. This way, it csn also be a better all terrain vehicle. Other ideas include but are not limited to: omnidirectional wheels
    replacing all bedspace with a telescoping retractable cannon, as well as riot supressor that shoots tazer darts or plastic casings filled with 50 g of rubber pellets,and flare/ rocket launchers
    Adding features from the spycar. Also repurpose the projector for a windshield HUD
    Adding a powerful grappling hook winch system
    Holy crap, remember the tumbler bat baha, you could build the freakin BATMOBILE.

    Seriously awesome series and I have to say besides doing an amazing job of making a sci-fi concept into a functioning machine you're also showing the way for would-be engineers (i.e. not just young people looking to be inspired but also engineering undergrads) that some of these neat ideas of yours have actual real life applications. For example a working functioning powerloader like the one you've created I can easily see defence and civil engineering firms making use of them (e.g. a single individual shifting a heavy load of cables using a powerloader instead of a small team) and why I think you guys should seriously consider approaching companies Boeing and Rolls Royce or BAE systems or Rheinmetal of Germany to sponsor some of your major projects because if it works then there's a real possibility of you guys opening a new frontier in science (e.g. what good material science and mechanical engineering can and cannot achieve).

      Not to mention with individual tracks you could raise or lower a leg individually allowing the power loader to tilt into turns for faster and more fluid movement. But I understand the cost of R&D and how much would be poured into developing a stabilization system for that. A cool idea none the less though, I was thinking the same thing while watching.

    • @xfel5913
      @xfel5913 3 년 전

      Was thinking this exactly. Plus it looks a lot better than having a single trunk sitting on a single trunk.
      I don't think the stabilization system would be that hard to get working initially, just keep everything stable and you basically have a regular tank base. Then you can still improve it later on for more dynamic motion.
      If you want to see what this could look like, have a look at the anime Code Geass. While it does quickly introduces science-breaking supermechs, the initial rank-and-file models are surprisingly mundane in their design. These mechs are essentially rollerblade-skating, which is way easier for a construct like that then a human because robot joints are a lot more stable than human leg joints.
