Man I aspire to be able to do projects like these in my life and love all of the hacksmith crew. I know it's a long shot but I would love to apprentice here some day.

I really liked this. I did not believe James stood a chance with his drift spec leafblower design as the 27 nm of force seemed inferior along with the drift inducing steering. But the results truly blew me away as James' ride truly was a cut above the competition.

The entire Hacksmith industries should be working at in MIT but they still use their engineering skills just so that we can enjoy and be entertained. Salute to all of you at Hacksmiths.

I would love to see more one-day build offs like this. Maybe even a company-wide Hack-Triathlon of sorts? (With teams of 2-3 to be fair to the editors/non-engineering staff)

Hey Hacksmith, I feel like a one day build aquamans trident could be doable for you guys considering your access/ability to metal cutting and welding!!!

I love how they are like lets keep this diy because everybody has a plasma cutter, a milling machine, a welder, and extensive amounts of gardening equipment to take apart and play with

Definitely like the idea of competitions! Maybe you could try something like building equipment to assist a person through an obstacle course. Or something with model rockets. Electric dirt bikes maybe?

Bogdan: Takes apart the the chainsaws to reattach the chains to the wheels to make a chain wheel system to give him more torque.

This is reminding me of when i was a kid and played mariokart on my gamecube. My favorite was DonkeyKongs stage and i liked playing as him because his car was made of wood. Atleast that's how much i remember because i havent played those in years.

Wow that race was really interesting. As soon as James said he had a total of 6N of force, I figured he wouldn't have near enough power to match the chain drive chainsaw trike. However, I didn't figure on the constant acceleration.

There were so many goofy sounds xD that was fun

The thrust vectoring on the leaf blowers is really smart though

The air powered one went off of the free wheel developed for the pedaling where as the gear powered one had to rebuild the torque and compensate for the load. 🤷‍♂️ mere observation. Love watching this shit 🙌

use leaf blowers to make some sort of drifting buggies that slide on roller skate rinks

Please try something like this. Imagine a balista trailer for a 4 wheeler (or the cybertruck...) You could use leaf springs from a truck and make huge steel arrows. Also you could use a winch to draw it back. If you do try that please see if it can pierce a car door.

Honestly speaking, litheli's white and green design looks really clean. Makes it look really appealing! They look really pretty.
