Jada Danger well, when my father died and I went back to work on my business the first day, the thing I hated was people pitying me and constantly telling me to take some time off my dream job. Whenever Halsey’s feeling down she makes music to heal that pain. An artist paints to cope with shit, you don’t tell them to put the brush down and give them your pity. Anyways, she’s making millions while you’re worrying (pitying) her mental health. Secondly, just because I have a different opinion and disagree with the “aww you’re so sad, stop making music for now” mentality of fans doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate her expressing her feelings through music. You are a child if you think people don’t have different opinions and different ways of appreciating something. You had an opinion, and I simply declared my own in reply so idk what got u so triggered. When you have bipolar disorder, this album hits you differently.
Halsey brings us real emotions and managed to express how we feel about it and what our life is like, our relationships, the battle for self love and accepting the diagnosis and all.
Thank you for showing the world our reality.
Now I know I'm not alone
I don't personally have Bipolar (or if I do have it it isn't doing shit yet) however my Father does have it (part of the reason My Mother is so paranoid about me and my Sibling potentially having it) so I can greatly sympathize with people who have it, and my first thought when I saw the Album title was this must have something to do with the Manic part of Bipolar, after all it's alternative name isn't Manic-depressive disorder for nothing.

She said once that maybe she will continue making music in the future but also she maybe won't. So, in this song we can hear Ashley's thoughts on choises that actually were made by Halsey. She said that "her heart is a muscle but still not strong enough to carry the weight of the choices she made" and by that she probably means being in this music industry but "it is getting harder every day" and we can see that she is thinking of taking a possible break. People are often saying to their idols how he/she is the reason why they are alive or how they changed their lives.
