I love this case just did a buildi in it and couldn’t believe the quality highest quality case I’ve ever used
I bought this basically because of the front panel power button and usb ports (i dislike when they are positioned in the upper part of the case, or lateral), and because it is pratically the only case without windows that offers a great airflow (i've bought the black no-window model).
It is really a great case.

The lights on that card are amazing! Is that the 2080 TI from the extreme ITX build which wouldn't fit?

Hey, I cant believe I've had this case for 7 months already.. Over all, its not bad, but there are a few annoyances which may or not matter to you.
Mostly with the 3.5" drive bays.. I cannot fit more than 2 in the case with any normal sized power supply. The HDD brackets are incredibly difficult to remove, and they don't seem to dampen the noise from the HDD's at all like other cases with rubber grommets.
Otherwise, great air flow, good construction.. I would go with a 420mm rad for this case as it gives you all the space at the top for one.

The case without the front cover, reminds me a lot of the older Antec Elevenhundred that really was an airflow champion.

This is the single best looking case I have ever seen, I love it so much. I wasn't planning on upgrading my case, or spending $150 on a case, but this case is perfect.
Did you get it? I got one a couple years ago and I can't suggest it enough. I got the white one. But easy to build in and swap parts and its quiet also recently swapped out my motherboard and it didn't have a lot of dust inside!
@@Noodlepunk I decided to get the p500a after realized that the side profile for the p600s is similar to the p300a. I still think it looks beautiful though.

Phanteks is shaking the industry up so much. I can't wait to see where they go.
I like that they come up with innovative ideas, but I hate that those ideas are not always executed well.

This is a boring case. They need to research more creative idea's like the Shift X and stick with premium aluminium chasis.
DAMNIT!! I JUST bought the corsair 570X a week ago!!! EvolvX was in my top 5 choices. P600 has it all with THREE 140mm in the front and Type C!! I like the black aluminium too Dimitri!!
I just modded the front panel of my phanteks eclipse p400 tg because of the little airflow.. I'm glad they kept the sleek look of those cases but that case branch needed better airflow big-time.
I was really excited by this case at CES, but I've been getting note into ITX cases like the Dan A4 and Ghost S1 which make appreciate smaller cases, and would probably prefer the compact ATX version. Great case for what it is though, hopefully they address those shortfalls in the Evol X too.

Even the most rudimentary fluid dynamics makes it clear that point air velocity is a meaningless metric. Hence why fans are measured in volume/time.
@@turkeyphant But is a fan moves x volume of air per hour and sits at 300ft/h, if then they're at 100ft/h, you should see about a reduction of a 66% in airflow, but it's not a scientific test
@@jmandameloya You don't seem to understand the difference between length and volume which explains your confusion.
Speed is just speed. You need the "surface" by which the air moves to know the volume of air that is moving. You could make an idea of how much air is coming in the case but would be very innacurate.
You need to know the length, width and speed (how fast depth increases) to know the volume of air moved.
But, for sure, that's not the way to do it.

I thought my point was obvious. Airspeed at a single point is a meaningless metric. I mentioned the correct unit which is Q (volumetric flow rate). And hinted at the greater point that laminar flow in one point in space says nothing about thermal properties.
I'm not sure how I can put it more simply. Go back to fluid dynamics and thermodynamics 101 to work out why air speed at a point means nothing and why it can't tell you anything about thermal performance.
p.s. In case you don't remember basic unit analysis, the "surface" you mention is the surface area of the fan and gets you to a volume and would give you a figure that's actually very accurate but not very useful. It's also incorrect to say "You need to know the length, width and speed (how fast depth increases) to know the volume of air moved". That actually gives you the flow rate. To know the volume you also need to know the time which again should be self-evident from the units of Q.

@@peral9728 well, an example of my 570X where technically you can, you remove 4 thumb screws from the front, but it's not built to you use it like that. Besides the fact it looks ugly without the glass panel. Now the 500M from Cooler Master is build so you can choose which panel you want to see on the front. I like that.

I always wanted the P400A with 3 more rgb fans for the top. But after looking at this case, dude I've never knew non-rgb cases can be this beautiful :). Screw the RGB I'll go with this one, specially the white (since the white gave me STORMTROOPER feelings).
If in a rush:
Will be 149 USD, no word on release - but been waiting for this for a few months and December was expected release directly from Phanteks so probably now straight after CES
Good interior layout (imo) - offers vertical graphics card mount
Front cover on, tilted or off is not much of an improvement, taking mesh off is the most significant, dust filter - stock fans I believe, but Phanteks' stock ("unscientific" testing)
Stylish and quiet with decent airflow (based on unscientific testing)
I like Phanteks and I own the P400. I was hoping for a decent upgrade from the P400 to something in the sub $100 area. This seems like an Evolv disguised as an Eclipse series and priced that way, too.

This case is awesome, but the only I dislike is that there are no rubber grommets for the cable pass throughs. Can't decide if I want to get this or the Define R6 TG.

I'm building my first PC workstation. It looks like when it comes to AIRFLOW the Corsairs, Fractal, and Phantek are leading the way.
Right now I'm leaning towards the Phantek P600s. I dont care about tempered glass or anything being see through and I also plan on removing that front panel from the P600s and never puting it back on.
You can get a solid side panel too. Skip the glass altogether.

We need more mesh cases, upgraded to an cooler master h500 from an nzxt s340 elite and my temps have dropped 10 degrees lol

i try to like the design from fractal , nzxt, corsait etc, etc but i keep coming back to phanteks idk lol

The problem with your testing is air moving doesn't equal lower temps if you just move the same air over and over.

What i dislike about p600s, twice as heavy as my 15lbs p400s, it has a roof, too many ssd brackets, hidden usb3 ports, too big, so expensive for so many useless features.

I did that myself. cut the front panel open, then glued a fine metal mesh to it. It was pretty simple to to and works perfect 😁

Wish they'd add some 2.5" mounts on the PSU shroud. Shame to have so much space there and not end up using it.
I have the p400s love the case but it does not provide enough airflow and makes my system inside really toasty

Im happy with my P350x: integrated rgb, sleeker front panel, has TG, no stupid sliding turtle shells, and its 1/3 the price!
Oliver Toh 1/3 of the options. I have my p600s with two 360 rads that keep my i7 8700k oc ed at 5.3ghz, nice and cool.
Can you test that case with two gpu's?

I was hoping for it to have the rgb lights like the p350x has and the luxe 2... that or at least make the P350x in all white... or maybe give me an replacement P400S front panel that breaths for my P400s... my AIO breaths like an old smoker.

In terms of raw performance (productivity and gaming), 3090 is better, but it just isn’t a good value choice, unlike the 6900xt.

I prefer the I/O on the side like the Pro M though. And the optical bay for old timers.

you know what, i want to see something similar to the cm haf xb evo, atx sized lan box and that case seems be the best one that was on the market. i don't know why companies are not going down that route.

@@samuelwhite3173 but you cannot deny that haf xb evo served its purpose being a high air flow case at that size. and because of its design, you can stick it under the desk and forget about it and it came with a windowed version at the time it was for sale. also what i'm saying is that this whole side of the market (small form factor case that takes a 7 slot atx mobo) is wide open for the big companies to take yet there is nothing from them within the past 6-7 years
