25 Amazing Update ideas for 2023 | Clash of Clans

They already have a button that takes you directly from the builder base (or the home village) to where you can choose a new challenge. It pops up every time a challenge is completed. Don´t know exactly when it was added, but it is there. Edit: There´s also a scenery that is a floating island. The last Halloween one, and it looks great!

I definitely want to see some new clan perks...and rescue potion was amazing too

I would love an Electric-themed District for Clan Capital. Sparky, Electro Wizard, Zappies and even the dreaded Electro Giant are all good Clash Royale troops that could be added in CoC.

Being able to pause potions would be to powerful. Say for example the “Power potion” that boosts army. Then you would have the boost for a long long time 5:24

These are a few things I think might be a nice addition.
•Put a side camp near loot cart or anywhere suitable for cc troops rather than dissolving into cc.
•Add a replay gallery for saving our favorite replays so that we cannot lose our favorite attacks or defences we honour. I remember having something like this in pes 2011 but later they removed it.
•Add a message box to our clash friends. Or atleast a pinging option.
•An option to check who's spectating my attack. It'll be difficult to show during the attack but after the completion you can see it as a side note when the loot you got is shown.
• Chiefs journey but something that actually meaningful. The one given now is basically what we can see in shop or barrack. Nothing more. A useful cheif's journey would be a timeline showing the date of account opening, date you unlocked a new town hall, date you became a new league for the first time etc. I also think it will be much better if we could enter into the townhall and see the milestones as a scrollable thingy.
• Appeal back if I get kicked out of a clan. Shouldn't I know why I got kicked and present a reasonable case of it was unnecessary.
• Also how about a permanent blue fire for max level troop/spell for a particular townhall? A glance at the profile and you'll see how max a player is in terms of lab upgrades.
(These are something I wrote down in 2020 actually. But never posted anywhere :)

An obvious one that I'm surprised hasn't happened yet is being able to scroll through the different capital districts like we can with war bases. It's rather annoying going back to the mountain each time to check out a different district. There should also be a way to return to the home village from the district hall. Like, where did the airship go? Lol. It's how you go there, no? Too many unnecessary button presses right now in the clan capital tbh
Also, similar to clash royale when requesting for a trade, we should be able request multiple options for our request. For example, we should be able to request yetis and rocket loon OR yetis and valk, etc,. Would be a nice addition, although a bit more complicated than in royale as it a multiple choice between single cards vs on CoC it being a multiple choice between selected troop variations

I think the idea of customizing notifications would be extremely useful. Right now it seems there is constantly a notification for “army ready” or “shield” and with no option to customize, it forces the player to always be active or not know what’s going on. Very frustrating.

3:46 I’d say just add a “are you sure” sort of thing when your army isn’t fully ready
Ie troops aren’t done yet or heroes aren’t fully regened

in addition to 8:20 I proposed and has already been an idea of other people in the forum, Blue Flame indicating the troop/spell/hero is maxed for the current TH and Orange Flame indicating thats its maxed out.

I love the idea of more *themed* districts like a winter one we kinda got a taste with the skeleton park but even then the only thing spooky rlly about it was the graveyards on the layout even still I would like more things to make the theme pop and each district feel unique

A year back I also thought of some ideas
1.In friendly challenges, Allowing heroes to be used when they are on upgrade and have an option to enable boost without using a potion...In this way you can test the power of the troop you want to upgrade and see if it worth.
2.A defense potion : A potion which can upgrade upto 5 defenses for 1 war by 1 level...

Once a quest is over there is an option to select another while not leaving builder base, it comes under the message when the quest is completed
It just stays there for like 5 sec and then poof

6:13 I'm pretty sure that it's incredibly easy to implement but it's impossible to keep it real time because updating it all the time will consume a lot of charge among other things.
It is quite possible with a refresh button like some crypto apps do, that's a half-solution tho.

Havoc they already have something you described with the clan games when you complete a clan game challenge in builder base and you look at the side when it says you completed it it’ll give you the option to click for a new one and pull up the menu

Supercell should add an gift option so that we can give some gifts as rewards to our clanmates

Clan Chat and Clan Profile both been needing updates for years now.
Id say that should be a priority to look into

I think it would be cool to have a new event called spell storm where every 5-20 seconds a random spell will drop in a random location on every attack (main village only)

Number 6 (Instant end War) Would be nice but I think Supercell already said something about Win Trading leading to possible abuse. For Friendly wars, this should be a feature

More ideas
- being able to choose minimum level of cc troops that is not just the max level the cc can handle
- scaling the potions following some conditions e.g. Builder Potion gives longer boost following Town Hall level, Research Potion gives longer boost depending on Laboratory level.

I honestly think updating the clan chat is a must need, honestly the amount of timed I send clan mails reminding people to do certain things

a classic hero skin option for the king, queen, and warden. I still think the older 2d models of the heroes look better than any of the skins we have now.

A district idea I have is called healers haven. With the troop as the battle healer from clash royale that has a healing aura and it intensifies everytime it attacks, a heal spell trap that heals nearby buildings and defenses, ect

Number 5 is already done the moment you complete the challenge you have the option to see and take a new one without going to the main village

Altar:
A new small location can be found at the top of the village. You can restore an altar in 28d for 19m Elexir. This restoration takes 3 builders. Inside this new small location, at the start (then all 10 days), a remivable spawns. Removing it either gives a *any color* crystal Fragment (75%), Shard (20%) or Gem (5%) which xan power the alter for 12h/36h/60h.
Level 2: 20m, 30d
Level 3: 21m, 33d
Level 4: 22m, 36d
(Unlockable level 1,2 at th14)
Level 1 boost: Collectors +50% (each level +50%)
Level 2 boost: Troop health, damage +2,5% (level 3,4: +2,5%)
Level 3 boost: Defense health, damage +2,5% (level 3,4 +2,5%)
Level 4 boost: +1 super troop boost capacity.
This will change tactics in a massive way. It is also all balanced and the ONE THING (3rd super troop slot) everyone wants is now here.

+Capital District - Burning Burrow
New Troops: Burrowers (2 Miners, 1 Super Miner)
Lava hound - self explanatory
New defense: Clan Castle, Super Pekka Outpost, Lava launcher, Roaster
Clan castle - 1-4 (30-60 Capacity, +10 per level)
Can be filled up before every raid weekend*
Holds until the end of the raid weekend. Donations through home village Troops.
New spell: Poison spell.
Actually useful now.
Raidus: 4 Tiles, max dps: 20hp (35hp max) slow: 30% (45% max)
New trap: Poison trap
1 tile radius activation, 2.5 tile radius effect
25%-40% slow, 120-180 dps (lvl 1, max)
New Bonus: Heat damage.
ALL troops take 15 dps because of the heat of the burning vulcano.

Something that I want for clash of clans if for the sceneries to transfer over to the builder base as well as being in your main base. Lots of sceneries have different skins for the ship that takes you to the builder base, but when you check the builder base, it is just a normal ship. I think this would expand the value of sceneries and ale it more seamless when transitions bases.

I like that "End War" after all attacks have been done idea 👍🏽

We definitely need updates on clan management and recruiting that stuff didn't change since game release

I love how creative these photshop users are. Slapping some random building parts on the townhall and adding some color on it. How original and creative they are.

Instead of top contributors of clan capital buildings, a contribution history would be a better feature.
This would also allow co-leaders or leaders to scold those who just upgrade everything that isn't the prioritized buildings.

We need an option for clan leaders and co-leaders to block upgrades in clan capital. My clan rushed to capital hall 6 and there are plenty of structures left to upgrade.

I think the rescue potion thing is missing the mark slightly. I can do CWL with an unbuilt scattershot being built (so like level 0 -> 1) and it'll show up as built in war. Or I can be upgrading buildings and they show up as the un-upgraded building in war. Just let us use our heroes in war even if they're being upgraded.

I actually like all your ideas, hope we get to see some in the update.

5:24 It happened to me before!
When I just upgraded my th, then got inactive for a long, long time and when I came back, the boost was still there, but paused! I didn't resumed it for a while 😂, but we can't pause them just by clicking, that would be a nice feature if we could do that.

For Capital to be even more specific and show each donation contribution as too many novice members just upgrade everything, especially the town hall. Making the defence impossible during the matchmaking, as we are paired with much stronger bases. Or simply give the leader a “upgrade lock” function and forcing members onto specific upgrade tasks for all.

My suggestion is give magic items levels. Because some like the builder potion lose value over time.

bro, the upgrade widget for android is absolutely insane! that is a 400 iq idea. i hope they add this soon

if we have 2 full trained army and if dont use all the army in a attack,the army composition will mess up after the attack by automatically filling the rest of the army from the already trained army queue. so a button for automatically train only the used army in the previous attack will be so helpful.

And the leader and Co leader uses the capital to upgrade specific buildings
I am tired of players upgrading capital peak without finishing other buildings

I love the concepts #1,7,10,12,13,15,17,19,23.
and I recommend some more magic items like training cards which can able to train an army spontaneously and one card can be used once.

I think it's much better if SuperCell add the pause feature where you can pause a hero uprade. So we can still use heroes on attacks. Instead of the potion spell one.

Clash DM’s (maybe not)? And a way to see which of your clan members are online?
Being able to flip buildings (literally just cosmetic) would be cool too

-TH 15 Unlock all wall upgrades
-TH 15 New Scatter shot level
-TH 15 New Dark Baracks/Elixir Drill level
-TH 15 New Builder Hut level
-Clan gifts (able to donate 5 or so spells to clan mates per week)
-New Tesla level
-Ability to change/cancel super troop once a week (double the dark elixir if you decide to)
-Ability to stack training potion to x8 training time (comes in handy if you need to squeeze in a bunch of raids before legend day ends or war is coming to an end)
-Pet Skins that match certain hero skins
-New clan perks/more clan customization
-Bring back global with a 3 strike rule (perma ban from chatting if you’re caught breaking the TOS rules, but you can still see the chat)

There should be wars of builder base and events related to builder base.

a lot of these (especially the hero thing and pausing potions) buff the f2p experience too much for it to be something they would consider

I definitely want to be able to see who started an upgrade in Clan Capital. We have defenses that need upgrading and someone started a wall upgrade. I get walls need to be done but not before major defensive upgrades

5: When you complete the challenge there's a pop-up that immediately takes you to the CG UI no matter where you are...

Maybe expanding the space of the map in the main village can be a good idea, like already with TH13 most of the map is full and in prevision for future TH it can be useful having a bit more space to work with.

update idea 26 : i think there should be option, like if we click on the troop donated in our clan castle we should know who donated it.

Wars ending early would be really really bad. You'd have clans spamming their attacks and getting 5-10 wars a day. You'd have unlimited loot.

I’ve always enjoyed the Clan Capital music but it sucks that its only exclusive to the clan capital bases. What if we had like an option in the settings to change background music like having clan capital music in the home village or maybe even clash royale music in coc.

Also I think it would be cool to see us be able to set EA shots to say like poison burst or freeze burst that would be pretty cool

One idea I’ve had for a while is donating your decorations to clan mates. Like for example you don’t want to get rid of an clashmas tree and your clan mate wants that one you can donate it to them. Or if its in your way and you can’t place a building because of it and you have no shovels and someone wants it then you can donate/gift them the obstacle

All of these are good.. most are great concepts..
I've also wanted a super spells:
Rage/haste that follows the attack and not just the area dropped.
And not just troops

I really like you capital contribution detail idea because as a head member of clan capital I never found the player who always upgrade the capital hall without permission.

The builder base clan games caravan is a brilliant idea! I wonder why supercell hasn t thought of that yet

Honestly a gear up for the eagle artillery that makes it low damage but have the burn effect of the lava launcher would be great, and that could be achieved by reaching a level 10 lava launcher.
But then again, I don’t want to have to do that to just get the 6th builder.

Would love some improvements on the clan stuff custom roles would also be cool

i feel like Poland is underrated, and i know you'l say "But Polish language is hard!" and yes, it is, but they can hire few people speaking polish
