The Batbike Batman 2021 Breakdown
Ok so if you’ve been keeping up to date with the channel then you’ll know that recently we dropped a filming schedule that had dates and times of a car chase scene that would be taking place on the streets of Gotham.
This was initially thought to be for the Batmobile and whilst this still could be the case and it will likely be coming very soon, as of the making of this video it does look like the road scenes will be centred around the Batbike.
The first pictures of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne featured the character on top of a bike and it looks like this could be the main mode of transport for the character as he is first starting out.
The movie will be a Year Two story so it does make sense that he wouldn’t have all of his equipment together and this is why the suit looks hand made and he is resorting to a bike.
As for the bike itself it looks exetremly high tech and modern and you will be surprised to see that it does come in black.
At the front we can see what looks to be ears almost similar to the cowl itself and there is a pointy design to the front of the ride.
Designer Ash Thorp has been teasing several details on his designs for the car and so on so I was actually very surprised to see this today.
We have been expecting a batmobile all week and whilst it’s not out of the question, it looks like for the moment that they are predominantly using a bike in the film.
Because of the scheduling I was sure that the Batmobile would be posted by Matt Reeves last night, however the fact that he didn’t, coupled with this makes a lot more sense.
So yeah, Batman will be using a motorbike at some points throughout the film to get around.
We may even get a bat pod ejection from the Batmobile like The Dark Knight and of course Batman Returns.
That’s purely speculation but I think that it’s more likely that he will have the bike first before moving onto the car.
There are rumours that there is going to be a second Batsuit and who knows, he may upgrade his suit along with the ride.
Bikes have been a large part of Batman’s rich history and the most recent one that springs to mind comes from Zero Year in which Batman used an almost steampunk version of the ride to get around a Gotham that had been taken over completely by The
....ously known for the car, this definitely isn’t outside what the character tends to ride on especially with some of the leaked images that we have so far on the film.
As for the car itself, we don’t have anything beyond the information that it will be a muscle and or sports car that is more grounded that what we have come to see in prior movies.

I’m really digging the suit, short ears, bulky, grey and black, like the dark knight returns. If they can implement white eyes, it would be almost perfect imo
Chanimbo it will prob have white eyes added in post production ... just like i am sure they will add a cape as well since here he isn’t wearing one which i assume is due to safety issues with riding a bike

If you look closely you can see the ears are pretty long which I really like
@@reymachete8878 I'm not quite a fan of the ears yet. They're kind of short and they curve a lot. Personally DKR is my favorite cowl look, but I'm glad you like the look
Those aren't short ears, they're Neal Adams-style long ears. The problem is they're too far back on the head.
Man I’m not a fan of the cowl... love the chest logo and such. The gauntlets look a bit iffy to me too. Idk 🤷🏻♂️ I was kinda iffy back when Joker was first revealed. I’m sure it’ll grow on me. Cheers for the vid lad 👌🏻

Wait for some time. That is a stunt double suit. Normally stunt doubles don't get the best suits, however, this one does look pretty cool.

Matthew White - Nolan's Dark Knight did that. He put together the suit in part 1, was able to move his head and shoot razors from his forearms in part 2, got a flying car - in his colour - to go with his bionic knee in part 3. I left out a few, but I don't know what more they can put in this time around.

Weird I am the opposite I like the pointy ears like JLU and AKN since they look intimidating from the shadows. Not a huge fan of short ears they look to dumb in modern age imo of course, that's the one thing I hated about batfleck's batman.

As far as the suit goes : I like it, but I wish it had less armor and more material, but we did hear this is a prototype, so fingers crossed.

The reason why his eyes look like that is because he is on the bat bike. notice how the bike has no window so if he didn't have those glasses on he wouldn't be able to see
Maybe they will add white effect with after effects
Should be cgi white eyes its so simple to do even if he has those glasses just make them cgi dammit
And when he gets really angry or gets determined his white eyes changes shape like intro of batman animated series
But how would Bruce Wayne develop desiccated white eyes. Keep in mind this is Bruce Wayne making outfit he doesn't have Lucius Fox

The goggles are probably just there for the stuntman's eyes.
Looks like he puts something together quick just to go out, looks like probaly just a tin of armor top half he has around Wayne manor, gets messed up then upgraded etc

There’s supposed to be a 2nd suit that comes later in the film.. this is likely the first suit Batman ever uses then later gets it upgraded
The suit is alright. The chest piece is a cool concept, but the cowl does look like a bad cosplay version. Should have just used the motorcycle helmet with bat ears like the animated version.
Sugar ray But it makes you wonder if Bruce Wayne is going to realize that in the movie, because he is in a transition, so he may notice the ears are to big, in the teaser they don’t even show it.
I think it looks great as a first handmade suit, like a prototype of sorts; and Batman riding a bike, so badass. hope they also mix a bit of zero year in the story.

Great update. The bike and general suit appear to be taken from Batman year zero by Scott Snyder. The stuff we are getting at the min from the film set photos is great. As you said with him constantly upgrading his suit and equipment, you can clearly see that through the pics. Keep up the good

I really like on how it's handmade a new take on the character and how it's realistic the suit for starters. I do hope the suit will look better in the final version and if there is a 2nd suit it maybe similar to the bvs suit but more fresh to his career and a different bat symbol

Bloody amazing. This is everything full circle. I feel at least. So excited for this film. Won't even care if the entirety of this release sets up a greater trilogy and/or DCEU.
Not sold on the suit just yet but we'll see. It looks like he has arrows on his gauntlets too which is strange. I hope his second suit is better and if it was navy and grey it would be a nice change.
I think it will be a combination of the The “Hush” storyline and the “Long Halloween” set in an early 2000’s timeline. The bat suit looks perfect for a year one prototype

Early leaks send out very hopeful vibes about the direction The Batman is heading in terms of production design; and quite possibly hint at some spectacular action in the finished film.
