SMILE 2: Everything we know about the SEQUEL of Smile (2022)

i really hope they don’t ruin it. smile is one of the few good horror movies that came out last year, so it would suck a lot if the sequel ruins it.

For people who are curious, smile 2 has a set release date said to be october 17 2024

I actually watched smile last night and I can deeply confirm that it is one of the most disturbing movies I’ve ever watched but it was really good

Smile made me traumatised that day I watched it. I would get scared and scream when I see someone smile widely. My friends teased me by smiling widely and I pretty much cried. 😭😭

I've watched the Smile movie on my television twice before and during Thanksgiving break of 2022 and I had lots of fun watching the Smile movie. I really hope Smile 2 gets released in theaters and on television this year.

I literally just got done watching smole last night (for the 10th time) everytime I watch it I feel so uneasy. That demon has complete control over you and the shit u do and will have u doing things u don’t even remember. Thats so petrifying 😩 I can’t imagine what smile 2 would be like

You know what I’ve imagined that demon being from? A world similar to those H.P. Lovecraft stories or even something like out of Quake.
Maybe they’ll explore how this demon comes and goes around, where it came from… and who’s its real enemy is (kinda like how ITs enemy is The Turtle in ‘IT’)?

I watched smile in the theater with my mom and sister when it first came out. It was pretty disturbing and got me paranoid for a while, haha.

This is the only movie I’m truly excited for, smile was a masterpiece that came out during a year of not so great horror movies. Smile 2 should do the same if not more

Smile wasn’t scary to me, it was just an anxiety trick but I still really liked it and can’t wait!

I have a feeling that the sequel will continue us right where we left off at the ending of the film, but we know that a new cast member Noami Scott has been selected to be the new victim/protagonist so Joel could an opening kill somewhere around the runtime of the sequel to the movie

The thing about 'Smile' is the gut punch it delivers about trauma. Kinda like how The Babadook addresses grief.
I have C-PTSD & somehow ended up watching Smile twice so far lol. I actually felt like I could relate to a fictional horror movie; the Smile monster legit looks like trauma. Everything just makes sense; even the nutzo part where it rips it's face off and then forces Rose's mouth open and crawls inside her.
And the idea of it being like a disease, and man it makes me curious if one of the ppl involved with the idea for the movie has or had a trauma disorder.

Terrifier 2 didn’t make me flinch but when I saw this movie I didn’t flinch it felt like I was having a mental break down I felt like reality wasn’t real after watching the movie the image of the demon at the end is burned into my memory.
