@@connieo3618 Seriously though! There are so many plants people call weeds, only because they don't know that they can be used/eaten! "A weed is a plant that you haven't found a use for yet," is how the saying goes, and that's totally true! I grew up having a bunch of different greens that people are surprised at, because they thought that they were weeds! I keep learning about new ones all the time also! Like young/tender maple leaves chopped in salad, or in soup! I just learnt about those this past week! Different spring blooms too! And wild spring garlic-chives!

And here in North America, people who came here were taught by the first nations peoples, but as they prospered, they forgot the teachings.
