Not legally. If something happens you're going to be in trouble. There are some loopholes with FLCoD titles (like registering it in a state that doesn't have destruction titles), but the problem is with something like this is that it doesn't exactly fly under the radar as he noted.

Well some people now are looking for Veyron parts that are no longer made, or that could possibly be discounted. There is no way you can not make your money back. The drivetrain itself has to be worth something. So maybe in a few years?

Also there was no mention of parting it out? Maybe the person buying it wants it to flip the parts? Or they already own a Chiron and have the space for half a bugatti to sit if they ever need parts just harvest them. I feel like Houston already does this with the rolls parts and I think he mentioned once he had a warehouse of parts and they were potentially looking for someone to hire to list it all? (Houston, I would love to apply). Someone will eventually need the parts or he could use it to sell a custom interior to someone?
Or a company could take the parts and 3D scan and make molds/cheaper replacement fender, doors, etc.
I think Houston should buy it as an “investment”it’d honestly be a great show piece for the Vegas retail store as-is cause it’s so famous. People would want to take a picture with it even with it a little crispy. Would definitely get more people looking in the window. And I’m sure if/when you want to sell, even if you take a bit of a loss, someone will be interested in buying it if there is this much interest already.
My personal opinion/guess is that Bugatti, or someone representing Bugatti is going to buy it so it doesn’t float in the wild. They can refurbish it or straight up part out for cars that need work/fixing and no one would even know. I think he said a Chiron is 2.7 million in the video, I don’t think anyone in their right mind would spend more than 2 million on a torched, really bad title Bugatti. That would end the nonese for Bugatti and they would be able to recover at least some of costs recycling parts, or fixing the car and selling, putting it in a museum/display, or maybe somewhere where title laws are different.

People are buying it to sell it for parts. How many Chiron parts are out there used? They can use the engine to build a custom car etc. there’s many things to do. Especially if you have another chiron thats in an accident, you can change the burnt parts over and make a new running car.

Maybe. But you'd have to rent it out a lot to see return on investment. And the way movie cars work is that they use a real car (that has to look perfect) for the close-in shots, and they build a bunch of replicas for driving and stunts.
I would suggest that a boat builder could do any of this work no probs and make the molds to make the parts

Exporting a car is simpler than you think. I know a guy who has a 4 car cargo plane and I can tell you now he can and does import and export cars all of the time. He will import a car from anywhere in the world for 15k plus the cost of fuel with 25% added on top of it for a inconvenience fee.

Wouldn’t this be like a flood car a well? I live in KY, and if a car is branded parts only, you can fix it, get it inspected, and register. The catch is that you just can’t register it outside of Kentucky. At least i believe that’s the case. I guarantee someone willing to pay 1M+ has some loophole figured out 🤷🏼♂️

@CGGS_Gaming Well most insurance companies do not cover vehicles on the track. You can prob buy track specific insurance but remember insurance companies always take the situation into account i.e. You are driving faster etc. So to them you are more likely to be involved in an accident which warrants higher premiums

You can rebuild it as a Kit car and re-title and register it.
You just need to save/document all your receipts for the build. I am sure there may be a few more items your state may require.

From what I looked into, you can contact the tow company and insurance company that gave the destruction certificate from Florida and convince them to put a salvage title. Then it will be able to go back on the road.

If that were the case 40% of racing cars would not be allowed in. Think of all the factory races cars they don't come with a vin number thats why they crush them after the race season is over or they go right to a museum

This vehicle can easily be registered again. Kentucky accepts Florida’s COD’s and will issue a rebuilt title for the vehicle.

Listed as sold on the copart auction website, anybody know how much it went for? I think I last saw it at 800K but it still said reserve not met. I think someone will be "rebuilding" the car while keeping it in the US via have the parts for repair transported to the car and then have the complete car transported to another country once it is all said and done.
