GFRIEND has been in my radar just recently, since Big Hit's acquisition. And with this comeback, they've won me over. Just couldn't stop thinking how talented and beautiful, and talented and beautiful once again they are. After a little research on their career, I couldn't believe how hard their road was. It striked right through my heart. And even more at knowing that the one more mesmerizing to my eyes, Umji, was so criticized. GFRIEND, you have all my respect and support, and I'm glad I've found you.

Gfriend actually has the most unique concepts in all of kpop. Yes this has more mature themes, but they aren’t exactly wearing less clothing to sell the mature concept, instead, it’s always their choreography that’s beautiful and seductive and empowering. Even their older concepts! They were cute, but they never defaulted to simple, cute choreo, they always had more difficult, more beautiful, and complicated choreo.
In addition, the ability of every member to stand out individually within the dance but not overpower each other is incredible, and an amazing display of cooperation that they have been training diligently to do so for years. Even in concerts, they rarely make huge mistakes because they are such skilled performers.
Also, buddies, Gfriend deserves SOTY! Let’s keep streaming all their MVs!

Although they are one of the top gg already they never are afraid to try another concept. They pulled this off real good. Thank you to SouMu and Bighit for always believing in these girls.
