i saw some comments about hoshi becoming a trainee bcs of an ice cream, and it seems like not many people knows the details so basically he loves dancing and wanted to join any agency so his nuna asked a pledis staff who attended the same college as her and said "uri dongsaeng likes to dance, how can he join pledis?" so the staff met hoshi and streetcasted him then after talking for a while, she bought him ice cream as a treat and he said "thankyou" (lol the way he acted it back is so cute so i cant exclude this part)

For those who don't know, Hoshi is a member of the group Seventeen (which is part of Pledis entertainment, now under Big Hit Labels).
His name is Kwon Soonyoung, he's a 1996 liner, is the performance leader of his group and main dancer ; he very often takes part in making the choreography. He also can sing very well and rap (I really love his voice), and he has beautiful eyes and squishy cheeks. But the main reason he is my bias (which is not easy because Seventeen has 13 amazing members) is his personnality ! He is Crazy (in a good way :3) ! He is very funny, energetic and can scream loudly out of the blue. But he is also a hardworker and a cutie. And now also a spider apparently... ?

Since there are so many people who are kind of confused on who this is, this is Hoshi from Seventeen. He is releasing his mixtape on April 2nd. The reason that this video is on the HYBE channel is because Pledis has been a subsidiary of HYBE or Bighit for about a year now. All of Seventeen's official Korean releases have been uploaded here since then. I hope this clears some of your questions up :)

That is Hoshi,the main dancer and performance team leader of Seventeen. He is the reason for what Seventeen has in their performance right now. When they were trainee,other members were slightly afraid of hoshi (and woozi) bcs he was so strict during practice but thanks to him being perfectionist and being very meticulous about details in their dancing,Seventeen now is known as one of the best kpop performance group that is highly respected by many groups including non fans.
So saying shit like they are only synchronized just bcs they have many members is just ridiculous and purely bullshit :) They work hard for it so they get the privilege,it's just funny how ppl are shamelessly making up things just to make their fav looks better lol ALSO there's a video how they were practicing with hoshi when they were trainee and honestly it's not even weird why they are so precise with their movement. He once said that he pays a lot of attention to angles,he loves to make use of 45° angle in their movement and even called that as national angle~
