The fact that the orchestra version of black swan is not on Spotify is a crime

BTS releasing a song about how an artist losing his passion is worse than death in their 7th year in the industry shows how genuine their love for music is. This whole comeback clearly wasn't made with breaking records in mind (even if they did pull out mind-blowing numbers anyway), it was about celebrating art in its many forms. For the making of the album they worked with many different artists, the marching band of 'ON', the choir in 'Friends', and now this dance company. They released 'Black Swan' as a single a month before the album and this was the MV that was released first. I do think that they truly wanted to spotlight these amazing dancers. I also want to highlight something : they released 'ON Kinetic Manifesto' the day of the comeback, and a few days later they released the official MV of 'ON', not caring if it was going to impact the views on the first 'ON' video. And a few days later again they released another video for Black Swan. I want you to understand that this isn't normal, this isn't common to release 3 MVs during comeback week. They also released the 'Shadow' and 'Ego' MVs. They didn't care about the views or money or whatever, they only cared about their work and art. I think that it's quite amazing that they did this knowing that they wouldn't get as many views as usual. It doesn't surprise me though, after years with them I've witnessed many times how passionate they were for music. I'm so proud of them and I'm really learning a lot about music besides them. I just wish more people would recognize that they are far from your typical boy band or even typical artists. They do this out of passion, which is not that common nowadays in an industry run by money, clout and mediaplay. I'm hoping that their music will get the recognition it deserves and that they will also get credited as the amazing songwriters, producers, singers, rappers, dancers that they are.

I personally really adore the orchestral version it gives off a bit more of a sad vibe which makes the message of this song even more clear.

For some reason, I really felt the song and the message there. I listened to the song a lot but now it hits me. Losing your thing, how terrifying and empty you feel although you can't do anything about it. I lost interest in my passion when I had my burnout and depression and I feel empty and changed from no longer being able to live it and spend time on it, dedicate my soul to it. It is an excruciating silence in your life....

I still can’t believe BTS musical diversity and their level of artistry. They’re so complex. They don’t treat the music industry as a way of making money, they don’t try to release music just for the sake of releasing. Each song and lyric that is shown in front of their listeners/viewers is so well prepared, picked up with such a meticulous care. You can hear and feel their love for the music.

No other songs can beat THIS. I feel sorry for people who doesn't understand the magic behind this boy band. They truly one of a kind. Every time I listen to this, I feel some type of way. The dancers have portrayed the emotions so perfectly, the lyrics about the fear of losing passion for music and the song itself is a masterpiece. Now I understand why people think BTS isn't just a typical boy band, they're more than just handsome guys who can sing and dance, wear fancy clothes and colorful hair. This is some real musician stuff here. I hope people understand that BTS are where they are today is not because of their popularity but their love for music and what they do. The only thing their popularity did was to help getting recognized by the world. If only this song was released on the music platforms, this song would probably be the perfect candidate for SOTY.

I used to be a dancer but I can't dance anymore because my arthritis makes it too painful and I'm currently getting evaluated for early onset Parkinson's Disease because I shake alot. Black Swan is heartbreaking because they hit the nail on the head, this is exactly what it feels like to not be able to do what made you passionate anymore. My 1st death truly was when I stopped dancing and honestly I don't think my next death will be as heart wrenching as grieving the person I was when I was enveloped in passion and love for dance.

the dance is so powerful. MN Dance Company, thank you for giving such a phenomenal performance! It is super not easy and could be dangerous to performance in a venue like this with bear foot. somehow i still see little rocks on the floor. This performance, omg... it translate the message so well. the struggle, the resist, the change. At the end became like the king of the swan. I love it. This is beautiful.

Today marks one year since I discovered BTS, fell down the rabbit hole and became an ARMY. Finding hidden masterpieces like this video makes me really happy, realizing that BTS are 360° artists appreciated in all art fields, from people with different backgrounds and ages, this somehow makes me proud. I'm afraid, I'M IN THIS BANGTANSH*T FOR LIFE!!!!
