Rev can’t kill loba because he needs her to kill him, so he’s choosing to instead torture her emotionally until she breaks down and lets revenant die. Imagine what it would be like wanting to die but literally not being able to. It must feel like being trapped in a cage.

He doesn't have to kill her, just beat her then walk away like " I'm only letting you live so I can keep tormenting you"
He's portrayed as a bad ass, but he can't do shit

If revenant wins due to his nature he will probably kill the one that lost the fight and if its one of the legends its a big no because it will mess up lore stuff and gameplay stuff

Now imagine for the first time in 3 centuries, actually _believing_ you were going to get out. Glimpsing that light at the end of the tunnel that you'd always dreamed was there... only for it to be snuffed out forever.

Above all else, Revenant is a tired and bitter old man. He was more-or-less running on autopilot for most of those 300 years, lashing out vaguely at a world that has long since passed him buy.
Consider what life was like 300 years ago in the real world. The American Revolution is still some 50 years off, France loves its monarchy, and the word "hello" (a contraction of 'hey, you') doesn't even exist yet.
The reason why Revenant is so casual about killing people is because he's long-since realized it doesn't matter. He's seen the world change and change again, over and over. What does it matter who he kills, when they'll just die some day and be forgotten anyways?
Simply put, his heart isn't in it at this point, even for someone like Loba. When she took his last remaining hope from him, the reason why he couldn't kill her was because he'd just lost his very last reason to care about any of it anymore. Even his anger was hollow, because who does he have to be angry AT? Loba? She doesn't matter. Sure, kill her, don't kill her, it's all the same in the end. Why waste energy you don't have on actions that don't matter?

What do you mean bullet sponge? That grapple has saved my ass countless times. I even used it to steal a mate's banner out from under the noses of a full team by hiding on the roof and dropping down when my other teammate grabbed their attention with gunfire.

The IMC doesn't seem to have great pilots overall considering this and how Cooper would regularly be outnumbered by them and still come out without a scratch.

They're all made to be able to fight fairly against each other so yeah every legend can take him on alone plus he can just come back do he isn't fighting as hard

Probably the only ones who would stand a chance against him are Pathfinder (since he likely has lots of experience, along with the determination to win and impress his creators), Ash (since they are both Simulacra), and Horizon (She might have lots of experience too, considering that she is technically over a decade old)
And then of course, Pathfinder is too sweet, and could befriend Revenant. But that would take a LOT of work.
