This artist became known to the public in 2013 after taking part in "K-Pop Star Season 3." 3 years later in 2016, she made her official debut with the album, "One Strange Night," and topped all the music charts with the lead single "The End." Particularly known for her delicate ability to express emotions, she has collaborated with various top-notch musicians and also taken part in many soundtracks. This past February, Kwon Jin-ah released her first collaborative single with Gaeko, "I Feel Like," and dominated the top spots of music charts again.
February was definitely a busy month for this artist - she also released her EP, "The Way For Us." Due to her active participation in the creative process both as a songwriter and producer, the album beautifully displays her distinct musicality. She likens each of her songs in the EP to a short story, making her new album a collection of 6 short stories.
In this episode, Kwon Jin-ah performs "Something's Wrong," "Flower Heart," "You already have," "Good Bye," "I got lucky," and "The way for Us."

손닿을 듯 가깝고 생생한 음악을 선물하는 도심 속 라이브 콘서트 [I'm Live]. 실력 있는 뮤지션들과 공연을 사랑하는 시청자들의 사랑을 한 몸에 받고 있는 [I'm Live] 198회의 주인공은 섬세한 감성표현으로 사랑받는 싱어송라이터 권진아이다.
권진아는 2013년 오디션 프로그램 ‘K팝 스타 시즌3’ 출연으로 대중에게 이름을 알리며 2016년 9월 [웃긴밤]으로 가요계 정식 데뷔했다. 타이틀곡 '끝'으로 차트 1위를 차지하며 데뷔하자마자 대중의 주목을 받으며 이후 다양한 뮤지션과 협업하고, OST 작업을 해왔다. 싱글 '플라이어웨이', '이번 겨울', '오늘 뭐했는지 말해봐', 정규 2집 '나의 모양' 등을 통해 싱어송라이터로서의 성장기반도 다져왔다.
올해 2월 개코의 ‘개작실('개코의 작업실에서부터 시작되는 음악'의 줄임말)’ 프로젝트를 통해 개코와 첫 협업을 나선 ‘마음이 그래’는 권진아가 작사, 작곡, 가창에 참여한 곡으로, 노래가 발표되자마자 음원차트 1위를 차지하며 음원 강자의 저력을 보여주기도 했다.
권진아의 EP [우리의 방식]은 권진아가 처음으로 메인 프로듀서 역할을 맡아 완성시킨 앨범으로 트랙 구성부터 녹음, 타이틀곡 선정, 후반 작업까지 대부분의 제작 과정에 참여하여 권진아만이 가지는 고유의 색채를 앨범 전반에 녹여냈다. 특히 수록된 여섯 트랙을 여섯 개의 단편 소설에 비유하여 앨범 전체로는 하나의 단편집처럼 풀어내고자 한 기획 아이디어가 돋보인다.
권진아는 [I’m Live] 무대를 통해 이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 ‘잘가’, 수록곡 ‘우리만의 방식’, 히트곡 ‘운이 좋았지‘ 등을 선보이며, 마주하는 일상 속 감정들을 다양한 모양으로 전달할 예정이다. 권진아의 무대는 4월 2일 새벽 1시 아리랑TV에서 감상할 수 있다.
