my theory:
all of them met in nap of the star. The magic island became their hideout, and the way to go there is through the train. And for some reason in Run Away, they want to run away from the world and go somewhere, where they can hide. Maybe 9 and 3 quarters is the part of the train where the magical thing happens and transports them to the magic Island. But unfortunately something bad happened, maybe just yeonjun and soobin are able to survive. And Soobin is being hitted by the reality that his friends died. And I think that yeonjun accidentaly set the fire just like in the MV of Run Away, his glasses cause the fire.

Just now watching this in 2024 (going through all the MVs in story order) and omg I'm so mad at myself for not seeing this sooner. Everything was amazingly done; the sound design, the editing, the acting, EVERYTHING was perfect!! Super impressed by everyone involved. TXT are so young but already insanely talented. Can't wait to see their growth, the potential is endless!

So I was just watching it again but there were still no translations so I thought of putting the translations here..btw I took help of Google translate..

The train from this mv probably represents reality. One important thing I noticed is that Soobin and Yeonjun (the two oldest) were the only ones who heard the train before it came (while they were playing). My idea is perhaps that the magical island represents a place of escape from reality, but, at some point, reality will come back and "hit" you, just as the train did. Idk if it is coincidence that Soobin and Yeonjun were the only two to hear the train (remember that reality will still hit them at some point) or if it shows that they were old enough to "know better" than to assume that they were safe from reality. The fact that the members died or became unconscious after the train hit them shows what happens when you must face the harshness of reality, while you are still unaware of it. Not that you would die, but that you would be "taken out" or given a rough time. This mv shows the effects of Run Away. Run Away is about running away from reality to find a better place. Magic Island shows that, while this can still be an amazing and beautiful thing, it can still harm you. I think this mv is also a criticism of K-pop today, as many concepts and songs create the idea of K-pop being an "escape from reality"; a place where you can forget the boring and hard things of the world. I did not thought that y'all trained in bighit for years to become actors.

I believe "Nap of A Star" is a dream. From "Magic Island", all the aspects of this music video was in it. The pain in Beomgyu's arm came from the memory of having spikes stuck in his skin. Yeonjun held his head because he had horns, maybe something from "Crown" and how he thought he had become a monster; which is why he tried to rip them off. Soobin had elf ears, and that might of been why he kept covering his ears while getting their memory back. Now, Taehyun had the star in his eye, and Hueningkai had the wings. In "Nap of the Star", Yeonjun had gone into the forest while the trees looked burned, the setting was pretty dull. So I'm guessing the entire music video was a memory from "Magic Island" because Beomgyu let them play with fire. At the end, it said "Remember my name" in korean text (Magic Island MV). I'm not quite sure what exactly said it, but it could possibly be the dragon. This is probably un-related but the chapter names sound like their songs. Chapter 2: Secret Island sounds like "Magic Island", Chapter 3: Castaway sounds like "Runaway". Then, Chapter 4: The Price of a Promise kind of sounds like "Nap of a Star", and Chapter 5: Eternal Summer sounds like "Our Summer". Speaking of Chapter 5, in "Our Summer", one of the lyrics that Kai sings is, "In it the promise of eternity what to shine" seems to relate to Eternal Summer. This is just what I have come up with by looking at other MOA's comments and lyrics of their songs.

Theory time!!!! I have 3.
1. I think that RUN AWAY and MAGIC ISLAND are happening in parallel universes. In Run Away Soobin sees a door in the pool which probably connects it to the other world. In both of them, there is fire but in run away I think only Taehyun survives but In magic island all of them die. So maybe he'll save everyone like jin.
2. One more thing I noticed, beomgyu stops the fire in Run away but in this mv, it's beomgyu who starts it. What if the run away mv is a represention of how they saved themselves and this mv is all about after life or finding a way back.
Okay I just went back to the mv and YEONJUN'S rap says "We swim in space, like 2 comets". When soobin unlocks his phone, it says October And that's when u see Halley's comet. And at the end there's a comet and a telescope just oddly placed in between them? I don't think so cause it's bigHit we're talking about. Maybe somehow related to nap of a star.
AND ONE MORE THING.
IT'S THE TRAIN THAT SAVES THEM AND KILLS THEM TOO
3. So one of the Moa helped me out and I think that maybe soobin dreams about the accident in the Run away MV and it does come true in this mv. In run away, we see taehyun with the extinguisher lost in his own world, maybe he dreams about it too. At the end he just sits staring at the burning door and a teddy. (Just like how jin had a flower) Maybe it is taehyun who can save them.
In the ending it was written "who started the fire?" And a voice says remember my name. And there are 2 theories
1.yeonjun (he's the boy with horns maybe he blames himself for the fire)
2. Other is beomgyu.
I don't know how to read Korean so I might be VERY wrong, considering how important those lines in between MVs are in a BigHit MV.

No matter how many times I watch this or the entire TU videos I'll never understand a single thing that happens here . PS I'm back again because of their visuals

_This is definitely connected to “Nap of the Star”. The MV starts with them on the train and this is definitely ALSO connected to “Run Away”. The train that they were on magically travelled to this place in which they consider their “Magic Island”, much like how the train in Harry Potter goes to Hogwarts. It seems that in “Nap of a Star”, they met each other in this forest, and now they consider it as their secret island and hideout from reality, and now they’ve gone back. They never really mentioned where they wanted to go in “Run Away”, but the title did include the phrase “I’ll meet you at 9 and three quarters. That might be referring to the train station in which they boarded the train to get to the forest._

_So I re-watched “Run Away” and it turns out I’m completely wrong because they DID mention where they were going to/running away to. In the song, Beomgyu songs the line, “Bibbidi bobbidi the train is departing. Bibbidi bobbidi our magic island”. This further confirms that the two MVs are connected. Also, notice how in “Run Away”, Yeonjun was the one who started the fire in the book and here, he is the first to notice that the forest is on fire. The fire that they saw burning in “Run Away” might also indicate that they should no longer/cannot go to this island because it will be burned and destroyed. Their next comeback might have to do with something like that where they are stuck with reality and have to face the challenging world, much like the message/theme of BTS’ “Run”. Trying To escape youth and the harsh reality. Lastly, the dragon that was shown in the end could simply be connected to their song “Can’t We Just Leave The Monster Alive?” but it could also be connected to BTS’ next comeback. If you guys didn’t know, ARMYs have been speculating that BTS’ next comeback will have something do to with hero and a dragon will be a huge part of it. When they released “Make It Right ft. Lauv”, the one uploaded on their BANGTANTV channel specifically had an artwork of a dragon and so they could also be giving a hint to their comeback._
