With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day. The only problem... cats hate dogs.

They seriously missed an opportunity to make this a Hong Kong Phooey origin story
They sure did, but then again, this is gonna be by Nickelodeon, so even with all the right materials to make an homage to Blazing Saddles, it might completely backfire in case the execution is this atrocious by making this movie ever mean-spirited in the veins of Dan Schneider, criminally average or even both!

If your parents weren't failures you'll know what Blazing Saddles is. This is Blazing Saddles for kids. Mongo is in it. They do"The scene" where the town folk find out he's a "dog" and try to kill him and many many more. This IS Blazing Saddles and it's amazing.
