Her vocal might not as powerful as hanni and danielle but her softness really put a character in her vocal and it's fine since newjeans style isn't belting high notes centered so I hope hyein keep improving her vocal that way. Good vocal and good song not always indicate by high notes anyway. Being an older kpop fan I often find myself complaining about music coming out these days due to the changing times but I truly feel spoiled by not just quality and catchiness of newjeans music, but also the vocal talents of ALL the members as well- its really like honey to the ears hearing them sing 🥹

The thing is their music in its all simplicity, calmness and cohesiveness makes me feel 10 emotions at the same time. Hyein is such a huge fan of IU 😂Hyein is sooo young! It's like a young teenage fan meeting their favorite celebrity. Honestly, this is the only group that would definitely break my heart into pieces should they disband. Not a single member overshadows the other and yet they all share the same "main character aura" as they call it. They're like a single entity when they're together that it's become impossible to pick a favorite.
I love how Hyein always come to the rescue, when her sisters are still long thinking, she would be the first one to answer. She is more mature than her age. she even sing "get up" among other songs in the medley. it truly shows her talent.
I believe she and Danielle are the most experienced in front of the camera, as they have been in tv or modeling since they were kids. Their charisma on stage really really shows that they do have experience. I really think they are super talented!
I don’t why this episode made me emotional, but the interaction between IU and NJ is like meeting your new best friends. NJ’s live vocals are so beautiful. I’m so happy that IU did “Hurt”

Being an older kpop fan I often find myself complaining about music coming out these days due to the changing times but I truly feel spoiled by not just quality and catchiness of newjeans music, but also the vocal talents of ALL the members as well- its really like honey to the ears hearing them sing 🥹
OMG!!! Edward!!! I so so agree!!!! The time when the direction was going in a unanimous genre, these girls came like a breath of fresh air!!! The thing is their music in its all simplicity, calmness and cohesiveness makes me feel 10 emotions at the same time. Even if you feel sad, emotional, happy, even if it's summer, winter, raining, spring! They got you!! Isn't thats music supposed to do? The secret to their rapid success is relativity! People often forget that beyond 'all the show' in the end it's music that's gonna be with your soul! hence they got so many admirers even in the music industry! From all over the world! Can't wait for their next album!

Hyein is such a huge fan of IU 😂Hyein is sooo young! It's like a young teenage fan meeting their favorite celebrity. Every time they conversed, she had to remember to keep composure and remain professional. Especially since they're peers in the industry now (obviously IU is their senior but still). She almost started crying in disbelief during IU's first question 😂

The reaction IU made when Hyein sang Get up is the best reaction you can get as a musician from someone you look up to. Dang i had the same reaction as IU. My bias are Haerin and Hanni but Hyein caught me right there. What's crazy is they all sang so freaking gooood too. Best group of their era really.

I just watched this episode of Palette with Newjeans, and I'm really amazed by Hyein. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, but also how Hyein often leads conversations or acts as a representative for other members in answering questions. At such a young age, she is a real professional. Gotta love Hyein more and more ❤
