Currently watching this while recovering from my wisdom tooth surgery. Got all four pulled, bottom teeth were crowded, hope that will fix it. One of my top teeth were impacted so decided just to take all four out. Nice to watch after everything.

As someone who will grow up to have all their teeth removed watching videos like this is comforting in a way. I have a mouth condition that we found out about when I was 7 the mouth condition causes my teeth to rot uncontrollably no matter how much I brush. I’m constantly in pain in my mouth that can give me migraines it’s horrible having this pain that will never go away. Watching your video about your teeth journey made me feel so safe and warm Inside!

I always loved going to the dentist and was never scared of it, I recently had 4 of my teeth with cavities healed without any local anesthesia and the first two didn't hurt at all. I still got two teeth to do since I haven't been to the dentist in years but I am so looking forward to visiting them again! honestly I think that I want to become a dentist myself.
I really hope that surgeon finds this video and sees himself animated. Imagine how excited he would be 😊

For anyone who has a choice between Invisalign and braces I strongly recommend Invisalign, you can still eat popcorn, caramel, and all that. Plus it’s a lot less painful. It can also make it easier to play some instruments. With Invisalign you only get a bit of a sore jaw for about an hour to a day after switching trays, depending on how often you wear them.

Yeah I had braces too so I definitely feel your pain on things you’re not supposed to eat, though on a slightly random note I learned how to carve chunks out of an apple with a spoon to eat them thanks to my braces so there were some amusing parts of having them… I have other stories but I’d be here a while and I doubt anyone wants that long of a comment.
Im very fortunate in that my wisdom teeth have never decided to pop out, I was told by a dentist that they’re up there but they’re not moving at the moment so there’s no need to take them out… which I’m VERY grateful for.

As a child I got all 4 of my baby canines pulled out (i also thought they looked cool like fangs) and later my last baby molar. I had braces for 2 years in middle school, and i just had my wisdom teeth extracted a week ago.

My sister got her wisdom teeth out a while ago, but I think they missed some so she has to go back. But our dentist only uses numbing medicine and doesn't use any sleeping gas, so I'm a bit nervous for getting mine out I can completely relate to the jaw thing though, but I have a mouth device and now my jaw occasionally hurts
I got four wisdom teeth out and I was supposed to get the sleeping gas, but they didn't tell me not to eat, so I got the numbing needles. It was fine, the worst part was just sounds, so if you have something to listen to, that might help.
It's so wild to me that at least Americans think anaesthesia is a necessity when taking out wisdom teeth.
I got 3/4 removed with basic numbing, didn't hurt one bit and it was quickly over. The last tooth was left in because it wasn't pushing out or anything.

as someone who got their braces on yesterday, and previously got 4 teeth pulled, this is very comforting. Edit: Just wanted to say to anyone getting braces or teeth pulled that it's no that bad, don't worry! Braces hurt a lot at first but after about a week you should be fine. Also with teeth pulling when they numb your gums with the needles it just feels like slight pins and needles in your gums, not painful. The worst part is your mouth being completley numb afterwards for like 3 hours.
You know I got mine on last year and also had 4 teeth removed prior so that was something. I’m getting them off next year so I should be ok but… my wisdom teeth started growing in TODAY. I hope it dosent effect the process and I can get them out soon but hey, im not scared of the dentist and I’ve gotten 4 teeth removed, what’s 2 wisdom teeth?

Well I have broken a bone. But not because of my own doing. One of my mothers friends decided that he should pick up a 4 year old me and start juggling me over concrete floor with carpet. That's how I broke my collar bone.

I got my braces around 3rd or 4th grade because I had all of my adult teeth in, and after that came tmj that didnt get better by getting my wisdom teeth out. However, I did tell all the staff members on my way out of the dental office that I loved them.

You know I had an impacted tooth, and then later had my wisdom teeth removed but never both at once cannot imagine how awful that would be (although for me the impacted tooth surgery hurt waaaaaay more after than wisdom teeth). Where I live, only the people who are super scared of the procedure get knocked out. Me and everyone else just get some local injections and are good to go afterwards.

My dentist used general anesthesia, waited 10 minutes, then put pliers in my mouth and tore them out 🦦. I remember hearing the tear when the veined twisted and broke off
I love how you describe being medically high as a kite. I deal with TMJ and have regular visits. It’s really not a scary thing when you get past the nervousness of it all but I understand that some people really have serious dentist anxiety.

I remember waking up from the anesthesia of MY wisdom teeth removal and all I remember is me telling my dad that the terraria OST is, and I quote, "lit". I am so glad that is the extent of what I've said without a filter and I didn't say anything horribly embarrassing.

That fear of waking up in the middle of it is so valid cause that actually happened to me! One of my wisdom teeth was so impacted that they had to take the tooth next to it too, which they did not account for in the anesthesia, so I woke up in the middle of them sawing that fifth tooth in half. Luckily I was xanaxed, and I couldn't feel the pain either, but I could absolutely feel the sensation of the tooth getting split and removed which is still pretty weird to think back on.
That’s my worst fear of any surgery
As someone who has had about 12ish surgeries on my actual structural support bones/muscles, I can confirm I, too, fear nothing more than eventually getting my wisdom teeth out.
Personally i was never scared of the dentist cause i had to go to the orthodontist quite a bit, and braces are such a pain. But ive always just closed my eyes and been calm at the dentist, i was a strange kid. But i understand the fear of it.
