The good old days! I miss being a small child on those playgrounds! Nothing like having an existential crisis in the eerie nostalgic maze of tubes while hearing the faint noises of kids yelling and parents telling their kids to calm down!

Omg the burger kind playgrounds were THE BEST!!!! I remember when my mom would take us to any restaurant that had a playground, she'd tell us that we could either get a happy meal (or that restaurants equivalent) or we could play on the playground. As a kid, I never really liked the happy meal toys unless they had Pokémon cards, so I would almost always choose the playground.

I used to LOVE the playground at Chuck E. Cheese, there was a weird half-car hanging off the side you could "drive", no slides but there were lots of different places you could climb. I think there was a rock wall too. But... They tore down that playground so now it's only arcade games and food there. It's really sad that the younger generation will never experience this childhood wonder of getting stuck inside of the really small tubes you had to crawl through to get the the car.

Burger King: Where anything and everything is a restroom.

I just remembered “Zona Divertida” in my hometown, it recently closed, but back in the day it was AMAZING, it had everything and more, from drawings to sand games to jumping zones, and also the standard maze-like playzones with 2 like ziplines. Good times

My McDonald’s playground memory: I was five years old and living in a very religious family. I saw another child about my age and thought that it was my duty to tell him that Jesus loved him. I caught up to him in the tubes and told him that if he asked Jesus into his heart he could go to heaven, and he turned around and gave me a look I’ll never forget. He yelled right into my face “I don’t believe in Jesus, I worship the devil!” My terrified little Christian heart shriveled and I ran down to my mom and cried. 😂😂😂

I absolutely loved the burger King playground when I was 7 or 8. We lived so close as well. I do remember I was scared of the part with the window cuz I was scared the plastic would break. We (me and my older brother) once made my aunt (who was abt 45 at the time) go in the playground. Poor aunt

When I was like 13, I had the mindset of "I do what I want!!!" and also was oblivious to cringe culture. So my parents took my family on a trip to the smithsonian and y'all. They had a mcdonalds there. And the playplace. Was ASTRONOMICAL.
So I went up and got stuck and had to be rescued. The end

That thing about the burger king playground is so nostalgic, because I loved going in there when I was a tiny boi.

I remember a fast-food playground that was at Mc. Donald’s and my grandparents always took us there and it was simmilar to the layout of your BK one. The best part was we always got hotcakes

I'm sure it's different everywhere else, but the burger king play place they described is legit the EXACT SAME as the Mc Donalds one in Salem, IN...
I spent half my childhood there, but as a 14-year-old the only time I remember was when I was 8 or 9 and a 13-year-old asked if I wanted him to push me down the yellow slide. He had started the line for this previously and it was my turn. Naive me said "Sure!" and when he pushed me down, he grabbed my long ponytail. I tell you this thing went down to my knees, so I only felt him pulling it when I got halfway down the slide. Then he just held me there, crying, by my ponytail, and his sister (i think) was at the bottom trying to help me and asked, "did he get you too?"
Yeah, that was the last time I went to the play place and let someone even talk to me. It was traumatic...

I remember one time I went to this local pizza place that had a playground and arcade (basically chuck e cheese but without animations) and these two boys were chasing me and bullying me and I managed to find my way underneath some of the toys to get away from them. Thankfully they were too big to get under while I wasnt and when I finally lost them I went to my parents who pretty much saw the whole thing and we ended up finding their parents who scolded them pretty hard. That was my last (or second to last I cant remember) time in that particular playground.

Then once you're an adult, you learn how filthy those places actually were and your childhood memories are forever tainted.

I ate fast food a lot when I was little, but then we slowed down dramatically. I remember being really upset but it was probably for the best. However, one distinct memory I have is playing on the Chick Fil A playground. We went there a lot, I guess.

I just remember that in one of those indoor playgrounds the structure would go so high, that we were able to see the pipes and stuff in the ceiling, and on top of one of those pipes there was sock. I remember always just wondering how the heck did it get there and how it's pair is probably missing it.

The best fast food playground I ever went to was at a McDonald's that was near my house. It was an indoor playground and along with the classic fast food playground activities, it also had a Nintendo 64 setup with four screens and four controllers. This was back in the mid 1990s, when the Nintendo 64 had just came out and was still popular. I remember it only had one game, but I can't remember what it was.

One of the saddest moments in my life was the day someone told me I was to tall or old to go to the playground. I loved playgrounds T-T!!

There was this place about an hour from our house called Burger Box and I loved their playground the most because it had one of those things where you grab a handle and swing yourself over to the other side of the platform. Like a zipline but it's just your arm hanging on to the thing. Anyway, finally when I was like 6 it "closed." A tragedy.

Some McDonald's somewhere between Orlando and Jacksonville FL - not only did it have an outdoor playground, but an entire corner reserved for kids parties with a mini throne for the birthday king/queen and a row of downsized tables and stools where their "subjects" could sit. In the corner was a little 3, carousel of "Fry Guys" you could ride on. There was a light switch on the wall nearby that turned it on and made it rotate.

The McDonald's and Chick-fil-A playgrounds are amazing they are masterpieces 🤤

Hahaha my parents always told us that we couldn't go to chuck e cheese because you can only go if someone was having a birthday, they told me we couldn't go just for dinner since it was a party place. What you really missed out on was DZ: Discovery Zone. That place was the holy grail of indoor play places!

the last time I ever went in a fast food playground was when I was like 14, and I remember this specifically bc me and my mom were on our way to an anime convention and we stopped at a mcdonalds on the way there, I was crawling through the tubes in full homestuck cosplay
but also there's this one local pizza place (i cant say the name since I looked it up and it only exists in my town), but they used to have this *huge* playground (and by huge I mean it was so huge it couldn't be seperated from where people eat) that I loved playing on when I was younger, but then they got rid of it a little while ago which bums me out

There was this one McDonalds playground that was taller than the sign and I loved it! My friend even had his birthday party there and it was awesome

I had the same experience! The first Burger King opened in my town... which I am now realizing used to be so small that we had a Country Kitchen but no Burger King... anyway! That BK opened and it was the best play place in town!

The fast food places where I lived didn't have playgrounds, so I loved it when we went to this McDonald's by a major highway with a GIANT indoor playground.
