Goodness gracious this is blowing up and I am nothing short of grateful! I was so so scared to share this story - this isn’t even the tip of the iceberg for these kinds of things. When I hit upload, I didn’t expect any more than a few thousand views if I was lucky, and I was only prepared for a few hate comments. Needless to say, I’m overwhelmed with the support! As a victim of sexual assault too, I am TRAUMATIZED.
This happened when I was around five. So, I had my cousin over, he was around 11 or something. After we met, we played in the backyard for awhile. Then he said to get in the treehouse. He said “My crotch is sore, I got kicked. If you sat on it, it would help.” Since I was just 5, I didn’t know what was actually going on. So what did I do? I did it. Then he said we would play a game. And that I had to close my eyes. I closed my eyes, and then he took my hand. I felt something sticky, and weird. So, I opened my eyes. AND I SAW HIM STICKING *MY HAND IN HIS PANTS.* I ran inside and told my parents what had happened. And since then, he was banned from my house never to be seen again. The end!

Ugh I told my parents a little while ago about some guys at my work making comments about my appearance and if I was single. It really bothered me (especially because I’m 16 and these men are all in their 30’s) and they just told me that I should be flattered people find me attractive. That hurt even more than the comments, because they’re supposed to be there for me and instead they got angry that I was being so “sensitive”

My mom worked at biolife and she ended up getting fired for reporting harassment, In this day and age everything is either over or under played to the actual retrospect of the issue.
I am 60 years old. I worked in the restaurant/bar business for about 30 years. The way I dealt was to be scary and humiliate the offender in every possible way I could. I hate that this is still going on.
This works perfectly if there are people around. But if there aren't I feel like acting aggressive can potentially force them to act on you. Especially if it's only just you too

When I was in 6th grade (last year) I bent over to help my friend with an assignment *she was sitting down I was standing* and the boy sitting across from her stood up jokingly thrusted behind me while I helped her and this was the first time anything like this happened to me so I just stood there shocked. I was completely silent and moved away from him to go pit my book away, telling one of my female classmates as she comforted me. I hate how this happened to young ppl and I known the kid that did it to me since kindergarten and I didn’t think he would do something like this. Even though earlier I heard him and one of his friends talk about my bsfs no-no squares. I never thought he would take an action on someone. Now I officially hate this kid and feel disgusted whenever I see him or his friends. 😭 I hope y’all stay safe out there! 🫶

Back in my school a guy did the exact same things to me and I wasn’t a person who wanted any kind of conflict so I said nothing, and what made it harder was that we were friends before and I hated the idea of losing a friend, towards the end of the year I decided to tell my parents as they were the only ones that I knew would actually do something about it, and then he just stopped, I expected him to lash out or call me a snitch but he didn’t even talk about it but, I still felt bad, one: because I felt like I betrayed him and two: knowing I could’ve stopped it sooner, and what made it worse was that he did this to everyone in school including my girlfriend, and no one spoke out about it and I thought that I was overreacting or that it wasn’t that deep, the next year I saw him again, he was even in a few of my classes, he seemed to remember me but every time I was around him I just felt really weird and uncomfortable, knowing at any moment he could just start doing it again, right now there is no happy ending as I’m still dealing with it but if this EVER happens to you tell a teacher, family members, or anyone you trust immediately.

I was a supervisor at a job and this one co worker of mine was getting harassed by another co worker and I witnessed it. I told him he was being inappropriate and I went to management. They told me, "She has to report it" and I said to them, "Yeah she told me she already talked to you guys about it and nothing has been done about it" they started back tracking and said "we already told him to stop" and "We're still looking into it" no they didn't want to deal with it. We lost a good worker because she was too uncomfortable to continue working there. She's happier now which I'm glad about!

There was a guy at my school who did this kinda thing to one of my friends and wouldn’t stop when she asked/ aggressively told him to stop so we went to the local pet store and got a bag of live crickets for 99¢ (he’s very scared of them) and put them ALL in his locker. I had multiple family members who were all sexually assaulted by the same man. He did it multiple times, and they didn’t speak up cause they were scared. All the victims were male.
Thirty years later, after all this time, they took their case to a detective. They managed to get a full confession out of the guy. He was arrested and is going to be in jail for the rest of his life.
