When he said “we wish you the best” it hurt me a little bit knowing that twitch is ok with people leaving and growing into a new platform. It is almost like growing up.

Tbh these streamer seem so entitled sometimes, they have already won the loto by becoming a popular streamer. Which was only possible because of twitch.
So Why should twitch fight for these streamers that threaten to leave them. When twitch has literally handed them there entire career playing games and making millions.
Imagine if someone gave you your dream job, helped you make millions and all you had to do is follow a few rules and regulations.

After KRplus actually start taking shit seriously, Twitch would have a GIANT competitor. Twitch can do all these bad things because they know they're the most popular streaming site with barely any competitors. I see pretty big numbers on the live streams I watch and no, I'm not talking about Ludwig's streams so far lol I will say however they do need to improve live streaming in general for creators and the audience and also easier ways to find new people.

Just look at average viewership numbers, revenue (translates to budget) and overall brand recognition.
All they need to do is implement some more stream-centric features and Twitch dies cause streamers prefer YT on account of it paying more(outside of deals).

Over the past year or two, twitch has been associated more to softcore porn and parasocial relationships than gaming while YT has a more discoverable, monetisable and "fair" scene.

i’m affiliate on twitch. before i went affiliate i had 13 average viewers i signed up, i now have 1.8 average. my notis don’t go out. they did before i signed up. my steam doesn’t show up on the pages like i used to

He's a very intelligent man bringing it to both companies to see how they'd react. Twitchs attitude of "we wish you the best" shows they don't care about or are willing to fight for the creators and influencers that use their platform. All twitch cares about is the money coming in and even when one of their biggest money makers says they're leaving they already earn more than enough money to give any kind of shit because money is all they care about

I would’ve stayed with twitch just because of that, they recognized the fact he had made up his mind and appreciated the time he spent with them and how they helped each other grow and wished him farewell and a good luck that feels more sincere than youtube trying to change his mind and bribe him.

This is the issue no offense, a lot of people think that twitch is more sincere than KRplus when really they are both companies. You should really watch Ludwig’s video interview with stanz about it to see how cold and uncaring twitch was to him. When the KRplus team would make a deal and splurge cause they knew how valuable he is. Twitch was suuuuuuuuper bad to Ludwig for anything he tried to do.

Twitch wasn't wrong there. Actually, I think they were in no position to try and convince him to stay. They knew their value relative to KRplus, embraced it, and did it in a professional manner. I never liked Twitch as a company, but I think their actions were on point in this particular situation.

imo, youtube streaming stuff is better. You can rewind some stuff you missed, the donation goes to creator 100% or sumn, and somehow it feels snappier even though the interface needs bit improvement
That’s only if a creator is donating the money directly to a nonprofit organization. It will be 100% of the donation and KRplus will cover the transaction fee as well. If the money is for the creator then KRplus will take 30% of the donation.
It is true. He made a good choice because you can make money with KRplus fairly and the KRplus itself makes money too.
i dont watch ludwig personally but i wish him the best too. from my own opinion though, youtube isnt that great as a main streaming platform but that's the only main downside comparing to twitch's toxic community and chat + the simps that consists of around 90% of the viewers.

First of all, he made them the most money they've ever gotten in a month, so there's easily a case to where he should at least be respected.
Second, The problem wasn't that Twitch was begging him to say, it's that KRplus cared, something Twitch just kind of never did. Don't get me wrong, youtube is still terrible at caring for the right reasons, but Twitch really wouldn't give a damn if 3 of there biggest creators committed suicide.
Imagine not cutting deals with ludwig to keep him but rhey make deals with hottub steamers.

KRplus is trying to expand their livestream market both platforms have there pros and cons and both can be a nightmare to deal with given Twitchs history of banning people and KRpluss copyright system and the utter disregard of communities openion

Funnily enough Ludwig has gotten banned 3 times mid stream.
The thing is it's not actually a ban. KRplus has an algorithm, it detects content that's protected and then shuts off the stream. I guess they could add him to a white list or something but that's for youtube and ludwig to talk about.
