She’s literally a woman, this is like calling a black guy racist for saying the N word 😭
edit: since this comment has blown up, I’d like to clarify a few things, first of all, not saying it’s impossible for women to be misogynistic, if she was actually being serious then I’d say people would have a right to be offended, but (and this is but an example) I have come to notice that many minorities on the internet make jokes about their race or gender as a way of breaking the ice between them and those who may try to oppress them, it is an attempt to allow people who might have differing views about them to see things from their point of view, and just generally have a laugh at nobody’s expense but their own. Due to them being of the ethnicity or gender, and therefore most likely having experienced sexism to some degree, this may just be a joke they are trying to achieve the same affect with as I was talking about earlier. Secondly, I and many other women I know seem to make jokes like this almost as a coping mechanism to try and allow people to understand oppression in a humorous way, which again, is a common method of subconsciously trying to reduce oppression against a people or person.
There are some people however who genuinely have negative views towards their own gender or race, which can lead to others of that group feeling negatively effected, although these people do not tend to express their opinions in the form of jokes, but rather, serious speech. Because at the end of the day, a joke is a joke. As long as it is not targeting an individual, the subject of the joke is usually at expense. Therefore by joking about the oppression of women, Pokimane is in my opinion, rejecting the topic as a whole.
