@@mg137b it’s a festival so you purchase tickets. But it’s really expensive and you have to walk a lot and it’s in the desert so in the day it’s really hot but at night it’s freezing 🏃♀️

siyeon's voice is so fitting for an actual rock band, i can see clearly her being a main vocalist in a punk band its amazing 3:46 4:17
edit: i would kill to see her covering songs from joan jett and amy lee (evanescence). not comparing singers (they obviously have different styles), but siyeon has not only the voice but also the attitude needed for a rock band main vocalist. i know nothing about vocal technique but what i see is that she's got a unnusual raspy-growly voice, very strong and powerful, and she can also make vocal distortions and effects like screams, growls, and moans which are not common in kpop but very common in rock singers. and obviously the wayward attitude she portrays on stage is amazing.

They all sound INCREDIBLE, I'm so glad they decided to only sing this time. Dreamcatcher is a group that should always be backed by a live band tbh. And I quite like the arrangement! It sounded particularly cool during Dami's rap, the bridge, and the outro slayed too. Also 3:09 Handong's vocals here. Just *chef's kiss*
If you thought that it can't get any better, then combine Dreamcatcher with a live band. Especially with this live you can hear how strong their voices are not to be drowned by the instruments. This now became my favourite live stage of Maison. And not to forget that we also got SuitCatcher for this ♥

As a yoohyeon biased insomnia, I always wondered why yoohyeon wasn't a main vocalist alongside siyeon. Now I realized that although yoohyeon is main vocal material, siyeon is just a monster when it comes to vocals
as good as yoohoo is...that's saying something.
Siyeon gets the high notes and sustains. Yoohyeon gets the chorus with hard choregraphy. Their skills are utilized into their own strengths.

Many times when dreamcatcher was on "its live" it felt like it was less rock then the original. These were such missed opportunities because with a live band and dreamcatcher in my opinion the rock aspect should be embraced in stead of suppressed. I feel like this time they did exactly what I was looking for, a version that is the same amount of or slightly more rock with 100% live vocals and great musicians and musical arrangement, they killed it!
It helps that the arrangement of Maison is basically a rock style. They just made it louder. For other songs there was rock elements but it was clearly more shown/obvious through this song
@@lunarialoonatic You are definitely partially right, this song had a lot more opportunities to let the rock shine through. But for example in the odd eye chorus in my opinion it was intentionally made less rock which felt like the wrong thing to do with the high energy songs Dreamcatcher makes.
@@kipzonderkop7061 If only we could get them to do "No More", "Don't Light My Fire", or some of their other Japanese gems in this format. Seeing how performing "Break the Wall" really seems to move them spiritually, or emotionally, or whatever...those harder songs are so under-promoted and border-line hidden. And as you say, the rock element to many of their songs is subdued quite often when it could be really emphasized. We all get the "muh Korean fans don't blah blah"...but much of their intl base is really oriented around their rock element. Yes baby, yes.
@@ShastaBean exactly this, but we should enjoy that this time rock is emphasized and hope it will happen more in the future. Whatever happens the girls (and company) themselves will never shy away from the hard hitting rock and I love that! What the Korean music industry does with this rock concept unfortunately isn't under our influence (it however seems like rock is getting a little more mainstream in kpop and this could definitely be partially due to dreamcatchers international succes! So maybe we do have a little influence 😜)...
I understand this sentiment as a fellow rock fan, but at the same time, DC aren't a rock group. They're a vocal-based performance group that happens to use rock along with other genres. So as long as the song is good, I don't really care how prevalent the rock element actually is.
dreamcatcher should have its own band at every concert. They're the only group that sounds better with live instruments, because their songs are more rock than kpop, so it's the only group I listen to.

So I think by now, it's obvious Siyeon has the vocals for rock. As someone that is a metalhead, I think Yoohyeon can pull it off too. Siyeon's sound and energy can be matched bands like The Pretty Reckless, what with the rock n roll. Yoohyeon can rock out with bands like Eyes Set To Kill or even Conquer Divide.
