What is his secret? - [The Shape of Queer]

This short film really touched me. I am a gay father, my partner who passed was also a gay father. we had a son each. I raised my son with my partner. His mother, a great person also a friend in heart, allowed my son to come live with me because he wanted to. Bohee has more courage than he knows, Nokyang is a great friend to have in need. I didn't know that we would end up with him finding his father, gay father. I was hoping to see them meeting. There I go hoping. Children are special in their own ways. This is a really good story. Thank you.

Bohee not wanting to change his name anymore after seeing his father with a man is like him accepting his own sexuality.

As a gay father myself who had to "come out" to his children I was fascinated by this film and the way Bohee accepted his father. His response is too cryptic for me to define but I hope he still introduces himself to his father. I would like to see a sequel that explores the fathers reaction when he discovers he has a son and the relationship between his adopted "father" and his real one. There is a lot still to investigate.

As a gay student who's moving to Korea next month for university, I was always scared of not being accepted in Korea, but films like these are so touching and inspiring to me and they give me hope!

This movie touched me. It's so beautiful. We need to accept things that are different late or early but acceptance is needed. Bohee is so strong and is more understanding than many adults.

that was such an open minded ,interesting interpretation of the film... i feel like the actors fit the characters very well.i clicked this vid by mistake..i was seeing another k-drama..but i'm glad i watched this.

Overall, WOW!!! The whole entire breakdown at the end just summed up how Bohee's hectic/confusing journey in the beginning led to something much more profound and awakening. GREAT FILM!!! Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful! The film has several layers, and in each of them a facet of a teenager's life is highlighted: who am I? Where did I come from? Why me? What do I really want? Many doubts and uncertainties, but the obstinacy in search of the "truth". Glad he had a "friend" to share with him the whole journey in search of himself, his story, his truth! Metalinguistic script, sensitive direction and deep performances. It's good that he solves many of the questions while still a teenager, or puts aside the worries that tormented him. Questioning and restlessness make us grow, see things with different eyes. It makes us grow, mature. Loved it!
