I love gaeul and yujin synergy, even though she is the oldest, she can help yujin and yujin can also help her with her experiences. When someone younger is the leader it can create tension in the group and jealousy so seeing how honest they were with each other was really reassuring let’s go IVE!!!

I like they way Liz practices to sing while she dances. Running around whole singing. I’m part if a choir and i need to study doing this, so when i walk fast i can sing steadily, and I feel like I will do her practices. It’s very helpful to see the way they practice
I’m the same. I even did musicals in college where I had to use props, walk around/on top of prop boxes, dance AND be expected to sing loud enough for the old folks in the auditorium. We had no mics. So I quickly became the most experienced by my senior yr in college but dang it’s hard when you have asthma like me

My voice gets shaky and my asthma starts making me wheeze. It’s worse if the stage is dusty which it always is so I always had a hard time. I pushed through it tho. I’ve acted and performed on stage throughout hs and college for a total of 10 yrs so I have experience. I haven’t done it since 2017, however, so I need to get back into practicing at home. I’m actually hoping I can pass any of my auditions. I want to be an idol but it might be too late for me. I’m African American and I’ll be 26 next month so I’m not holding much hope. I’ve already sent in 10 email auditions already with more next month I’m going to do before my birthday.

When Yujin mentioned that the younger members are like babies, it brought me back to 2018 when she was in Produce 48. The fact that Yujin was a baby as well in Produce 48 and IZ*ONE to now seeing her as a leader and growing as a wonderful woman actually made me realize that she's really maturing. I think many people wondered why Wonyoung said she felt sad once Yujin was announced as leader. Now that i'm watching back I see why. Wonyoung and Yujin are very very close and they've shared a lot of the same experiences together. Yujin is a great leader. But to achieve that, there are times where she has to be strict, and she can't be your friend anymore. I think that would weigh on Wonyoung if she was worried about how their friendship would change. Obviously its proved to pull through no doubt but I can see why that she might have worried back then. It's understandable.

Yujin's transition from being in a maknae line to a Leader is a difficult thing. But seeing her leading this team well is so astonishing to see. She grew up during her past career, both her and Wonyoung... but the pressure is on Yujin. Regardless, I think she led the group extremely well. Their practice paid off and even broke the record for a rookie. IVE's future is bright.

I'd like to thank Starship for giving us segments like this. It's a good way of letting people know that idols are humans too. That after each and every performance they give, they come home as daughters, sisters, granddaughters and friends to their family and friends. That they are just as vulnerable as we are. So let us treat them the way that we want to be treated, as humans.

I think it was the obvious decision too. Yujin's experience alone would make her the de facto leader along with Wonyoung, as inevitably even if Gaeul had been made leader due to being the oldest, she likely would have always been looking to Yujin and Wonyoung for guidance to the point where often practices or rehearsals would sometimes look more like Wonyoung and Yujin were running them, or other members would go to them first for questions rather than Gaeul. Further, a big part of a leader's duties revolve around public speaking and we all know that Yujin despite her age is one of the best in the business at public speaking. The group's successful debut will life a lot of the pressure that Yujin has on herself and make her more comfortable in the leader role. Plus Yujin learned from some really good unnies in IZ*One and if she ever gets really frustrated, I am certain Eunbi, Chaeyeon, Yena, or Sakura would always take her call and be a sounding board or offer some advice.

I like them so much. Each of them had different struggles but always listen to each other and still have fun even in tough situations. Wonyoung accidently got hit a lot but she didn't say anything at all until Leeseo bring it up, they're considerate of each other. Rei and Liz are very good kids too. When Yujin mentioned that the younger members are like babies, it brought me back to 2018 when she was in Produce 48. The fact that Yujin was a baby as well in Produce 48 and IZ*ONE to now seeing her as a leader and growing as a wonderful woman actually made me realize that she's really maturing. I'm tearing up a bit :')
I think many people wondered why Wonyoung said she felt sad once Yujin was announced as leader. Now that i'm watching back I see why. Wonyoung and Yujin are very very close and they've shared a lot of the same experiences together. Yujin is a great leader. But to achieve that, there are times where she has to be strict, and she can't be your friend anymore. I think that would weigh on Wonyoung if she was worried about how their friendship would change. Obviously its proved to pull through no doubt but I can see why that she might have worried back then. It's understandable.

Yujin's transition from being in a maknae line to a Leader is a difficult thing. But seeing her leading this team well is so astonishing to see. She grew up during her past career, both her and Wonyoung... but the pressure is on Yujin. Regardless, I think she led the group extremely well. Their practice paid off and even broke the record for a rookie. IVE's future is bright.

I'd like to thank Starship for giving us segments like this. It's a good way of letting people know that idols are humans too. That after each and every performance they give, they come home as daughters, sisters, granddaughters and friends to their family and friends. That they are just as vulnerable as we are. So let us treat them the way that we want to be treated, as humans.

Making Yujin the leader of IVE is the best decision that Starship ever made (^o^)! She's literally an amazing leader who love nad cares her members..Gaeul and Yujin's bond is so cute
I think it was the obvious decision too. Yujin's experience alone would make her the de facto leader along with Wonyoung, as inevitably even if Gaeul had been made leader due to being the oldest, she likely would have always been looking to Yujin and Wonyoung for guidance to the point where often practices or rehearsals would sometimes look more like Wonyoung and Yujin were running them, or other members would go to them first for questions rather than Gaeul. Further, a big part of a leader's duties revolve around public speaking and we all know that Yujin despite her age is one of the best in the business at public speaking. The group's successful debut will life a lot of the pressure that Yujin has on herself and make her more comfortable in the leader role.
Plus Yujin learned from some really good unnies in IZ*One and if she ever gets really frustrated, I am certain Eunbi, Chaeyeon, Yena, or Sakura would always take her call and be a sounding board or offer some advice.
@@kentvesser9484 yeah, she was already the host/spokesperson in izone even though she was the second youngest. and even if she has lots of worries, which really does seems so, there's gaeul in the group who can listen to her. honestly, yujin and gaeul dynamic is really good. they can give advices to each other without it being uncomfortable. yujin as the leader and gaeul as the oldest. I believe they will IVE together.

Ahn Yujin is the BEST leader a girl group could have! she started way down to up at such young age, even did low key ads, trained and progressed in survival show, actual experience being a maknae line member in a big & with success group, learned the ins & outs, ups & downs and still humble about it.
She's a genuine leader and unnie now, sets an example to her IVE sisters with behaviors you want to follow and empathizes the hardships with them, giving them more from her time recognizing & nurturing their talents & strengths towards each of their dreams!

I like them so much. Each of them had different struggles but always listen to each other and still have fun even in tough situations. Wonyoung accidently got hit a lot but she didn't say anything at all until Leeseo bring it up, they're considerate of each other. Rei and Liz are very good kids too. I love that conversation between Yujin and Gaeul.. they shared very personal and honest thoughts. It's great they can all rely on each other. Yujin's doing such an amazing job as a leader!
