He pretty much said he's still here for the battle. People are misunderstanding because of the media, and other people are ignoring what he really meant because they're kendrick fans or just want to hate or just want something to talk about. What he was apologizing for is taking it in a direction it didn't have to go(towards hate and real beef), and saying things he doesn't believe, because he's humble enough to admit that. For him, it's not just hip hop, that's actually his friend as a person. When you realize what he was really saying, trust me, you'll have more respect for him, not less. He definitely should've said it a different way though.
