I still love the detail that the intro says they ended up “on the wrong side of the tracks” to get to the casino, and then the last fight before getting to the casino is a train and you actually cross the tracks. It’s such a neat little attention to detail but it makes me so happy

Fun Fact: Since Jack beat every boss with Ms. Chalice, he can unlock the golden chalice outfit. Just head to the cactus girl near the cow-cowgirl boss in the dlc and she'll give it to you. it's a filter in the options.

Fun fact the genie happened due to him spinning around three times which may be used three times and infinitely on a completed save so double hp dlc though there is some things such as not letting you get a p rank on run and guns or using it on expert though a really cool part is the special message the genie boss gives you if you lose in the final phase with the double health ie "you foolish cups could not best me, even with my wishes three"

alright I know everyone's hyping cuphead and jack playing cuphead in the comments but can we take a moment to appreciate the editing of this video. From the smallest details like changing the facecam's opacity in the mausoleum so that we can see the ghosts coming from behind jack to the jokes and gags like the dragon carrying him from 1 side to the other. absolutely beautiful.

The guy in the pool who gives you your death count apparently hints at this, according to the wiki. It wasn't in the game at first release, though

The ghost going past Sean’s facecam, all the little edits with the music on the rating screen after each fight, I love when editors add little things like that into videos it really add so much and almost feels like a little easter egg when you notice them :)

@@SkyeVera334 if you don't attack the onion, it will leave on its own, and then in the carrot stage there will also be a beet or radish or whatever on the ground that you have to watch out for.
There's also secrets in Djimmi's fight if you stay miniature when he scans you before the fourth stage, and in Sally's if you jump onto and weigh down the Cupids on either side of the first stage. I think there's a secret in the dogfight dlc boss too if you don't shoot the little dogs in the second stage

Iirc when he was playing back then, that boss was unimplemented. It was in the files for the game but you can't actually trigger that boss. He was added in later

Seeing Jack playing this game again feels like a gift sent from Heaven. Cuphead truly is game that deserved the love it got from the story, to the bosses, to the animation it definitely is one of the most gorgeous games out there. It was an absolute pleasure you got to play the game again, appreciate how much effort Jack you managed to get through to complete the game again thank you for coming back to it.

Me studying vocal science makes me have a greater appreciation for Sean's character voices and singing. That growly gruff voice he uses for the elder kettle uses epiglottic distortion and its so cool!

I love how the cutscenes are fully animated now, they used to be just pictures, now they have animation and the characters now move around and their mouth movements match the dialogue👍
I mean they did have cutscenes where they moved their mouths in the first game and I was just a book, but the second one is just more better.

@@benfletcher8100 the second super give you a shield that basically act as an extra health point. While the third super will summon a bunch of souls that will attack the entire screen then leave behind a spear that can be parry
@@benfletcher8100 first super is the vertical attack thing, second super gives you a free hitpoint that lasts until you get hit, third super is a whole screen vertical attack with ghosts or sum shit idk

Jack, just a fun fact that make boss fights alot easier like the ghost train phase at 1:08:30, is that Chalice's third super art is really broken. It hits alot and does alot of damage. Great video by the way!

Fun fact: Hilda Berg is one of the only bosses that doesn't take damage during one of their transitions. Her and Ribby and Croaks. You did still deal damage during the transition because it was bugged, but normally you shouldn't be able to deal damage to her from (counting constellation phases) phase 3 to 4. Ribby and Croaks don't between 2 and 3.
You can deal a miniscule amount of damage to Cribby while they transition, but it's like two shots
This revisit has been such a treat, its so nice to see Jack absolutely killing it on Miss Chalice and the funny camera stuff every single time he ends a boss battle :D
Can we appreciate the editing? Changing the word “gapsed” to “gasped” as soon as Jack realized he read it wrong. And Jack voicing Elder Kettle where he talks normally but once he gets into the voice the voice effect fades in.

The genie shows up even without the DLC when you spin arounds in circles clockwise enough. You can do it up to 3 times if you're having a hard time in the current fight.
(You have to speak to Quadratus and he will tell you to spin around and count to 3.)

Cuphead is absolutely one of the best games I've ever played! Cuphead is one of my most favourite games of all time. I adore this game! The game experience is fun and wonderful. The animation is incredible. The art style is amazing. The music and sound in this game are fantastic. Ms. Chalice's features definitely made the game a lot easier because of her double jump and invisibility roll. The Legendary Chalice is truly legendary indeed. This game is brilliant and delightful. The legendary brothers Chad Moldenhauer and Jared Moldenhauer did excellent work in designing and directing Cuphead. Studio MDHR also did outstanding work in developing and making Cuphead. Much appreciation to the people who've helped make Cuphead. I am still greatly impressed by the fact that everything in this game is hand-drawn. My favourite bosses in Cuphead are King Dice (My overall favourite boss in the whole game; menacing and cool!), Cala Maria (My second favourite boss; spectacular boss fight!), Grim Matchstick (My third favourite boss; so epic!), Djimmi the Great (Such a great boss!), Dr. Kahl's Robot (A phenomenal boss!), Baroness Von Bon Bon (I love this boss fight!), The Devil (Sinister and superb!), and Phantom Express (Terrific boss fight!). The Cuphead DLC bosses also follow through as my favourite bosses. All of the bosses in Cuphead are awesome! I enjoyed watching this whole video, Sean! The best game ever made! Cuphead is one of the greatest games of all time. Cuphead is truly a remarkable, well-crafted masterpiece.

Was hoping you would do the secret versions of the bosses in this video. Maybe that could be another video? The secret genie fight is particularly hard. You just have to stay mini while he's scanning you and it changes the rest of the fight

@@GHOST.291 Yeah, just stay tiny while he's shooting the rings from his head at you after the section with the columns you have to shoot. Once the puppet is out, you're good. It should be a different puppet than normal
I really love seeing Jack play the old games that he loves, it makes him enjoy what he’s doing so much which makes it so much more enjoyable to watch!
Can you imagine how much easier this would’ve been for him if he remembered that he had invincibility roll? Or if he shot diagonally every now and then? He would’ve probably sped run this whole thing in less than an hour 😮

P.s.: It would be cool if you had a two player series with someone; It makes the game a little more difficult and would be cool to see the interactions.
Edit: As I watch, I noticed that it wasn’t for the second mausoleum. But I did notice all the other little edits like when the camera gets taken by the dragon to get to the other side. I still really appreciate all the effort put into the videos!

Ms Chalice became my absolute favorite to play, original I was playing as Mugman with my brother the day the dlc came out at first I didn’t want to use her. Then the king’s challenge came along and we struggled so I decided to cave and use her, turns out she’s really good. Since she uses the charm slot you can’t use any charms but she basically has charms built into her. She had 4 hearts, the roll (which is basically invisible dash) a double jump and when you dash you (well for me) gives you another jump. I love playing as her so much and with her I even beat the devil and king dice first try. When I use to struggle on them so much, she’s cuphead so much fun and it’s been so fun playing as her and I’m so happy other people can enjoy her to.
Imagine this is how it played out. They try and collect the debts, free Chalice, and then just watch as she beats everyone up.

I still haven’t beaten this game in 2 years ( stuck on king dice ) but jack can beat it in an hour 30 mins. This just proves how much of a legend he is
If you are still trying to complete him, there are some tricks, now you could restart if the healths dont land on the easier ones, now also try to figure out which ones are easier for you. When you have done this just try to get those and restart when the healths aren't on at least 2 easy ones I'd say. Now on second phase one thing I did. I dont really know why this works but just spam the shit out of space on the parry ones. also on second phase I reccomend the seeking bullets cause then you can mostly focus on the cards instead of where to aim. If you are still trying, hopefully this helps :D
