I agree to this on many levels, their music is very different, their storylines are different their concepts could be the same to a lot of other idols but still be different. [ this isn’t for EVERYONE, there are actual people who compare ] BUT- the majority of people who mention BTS in TXT videos is because they find similarities within TXT. Honestly comparing is like finding what you like about two or more things and finding similarities within things or someone, or stories. Comparing is trying to see which is better. Like how you compare ideas and decide which Idea is best. People find similarities in TXT because lots of MOA’s are MOARMY and those Army part in them has seen and been with BTS for so long, and has seen many times and precious memories with BTS. The only reason why they mention BTS is because they see similar things that happened or actions with BTS. For me personally BTS and TXT are very different but have similar times that I’ve seen before in BTS but now in TXT. It’s like when someone tells a story, sometimes you just realize that the story I sac very similar to something you know, or you’ve gone through, or have seen. In this case, it’s what we have seen with BTS now within TXT. TXT is the story you are being told, BTS is that memory/ similarity to what you know/seen. Plus many people who mention BTS are like jokes and memes. Or iconic moments. BTS and TXT are brother groups, BigHit is one big family, within a family there will be similarities and differences within both genes/dna and personalities/experiences. Like how my mom says my older sister resembles her when she was young, my friend’s aunt said that my friend was a lot like her older sister, my cousin told me that he is a lot like his dad, etc. It’s okay to see similarities in different generations or same generation, but to compare is to say that they’re like the same but the other is better or the other is the original.
