I feel like this song in general talks abt reconsidering their current careers, with the fame and status they have.
Halsey talks about a struggle between being the famous artist she is, and a desire to give up her entire career. She wonders about the kind of person she might’ve been, and still could be if she were not famous.
Yoongi’s verse expand on that as a kind of sequel to “Sea”. He’s got the sea, he’s found the ocean, his dream came true - but not quite as he expected.
