Most Krispy stores have their machines set up so you can watch the whole process, start to finish. It's neat. Especially when you manage to buy the doughnut you watched being made, fresh off the belt.

This is so well-made. Even the attention to small details, like donuts looking different before proofing, is there.

I remember as a kid how excited my brothers and I would get when we pulled into Krispy Kreme and the Hot Donuts Now sign was on. To this day I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t agree when it comes to hot Krispy Kreme donuts off the line, they just melt in your mouth like nothing you’ve ever had before, it’s definitely a treat like no other.

Weirdly we have several locations in Minnesota 20 years ago. They were incredibly popular, the line at the Maple Grove location was long the months they first opened. Now all the stores are gone.

Jared Fantastic video with the animation showing each step of the process !! I have 2 "factory" Krispy Kreme stores in my area and they are the best. It's always nice to drive by and see the HOT sign on which is time to load up on fresh hot donuts. Krispy Kreme donuts really are the best and the glazed melt in your mouth.

Instead, they use a chemical foam that cuts off the oxygen supply to the fire, effectively smothering it. For oil fires, a Class K fire extinguisher (United States) or a Class F extinguisher (Europe) is designed specifically for cooking oils and fats. Another thing that they use is a fire blanket. A fire blanket works by smothering the fire, cutting off the oxygen supply that the fire needs to continue burning.

This is a very good demonstration through which the complete process of making a donut can be understood without visiting a bakery.

Bro this is literally my childhood. I remember going to my local Kristy Kreme and watching the donuts get made. I could’ve stood there for hours watching each and every one go down the conveyor belt and going through the different stages of being made.

I spent a summer working in a small local donut 40+ years ago. The first time I walked into a Krispy Kreme I was as fascinated as my kids. I showed them all the steps of the process and told them how it was all done by hand in a small shop. Of course I also told them how I met their mother that summer over the counter of that shop.

At the Krispy Kreme near me (my las visit was before the pandemic) the people working only handled donuts using sticks, not their hands. To sell donuts from the display case they would use hands and wax paper, but on the donut machine - sticks.
