It seems like a small thing but the cafe worker explaining how to tell the different drinks apart by their lids was really thoughtful.
I really liked that part it was so kind and thoughtful and the fact that (Iโm pretty sure) same worker helped him open the door so he could leave ๐ฅบ
I think it's nice that they have different lids since I'm used to shops having only one kikd of lid.
In Australia a lot of places have little dimples in the lid that you can press down as a tactile way of indicating different types of drinks. Thereโs usually two dimples, one that indicates a soft drink is diet and then another to help differentiate if youโve ordered different flavours.
this was my favourite part of the video!!

Itโs so interesting that even though he couldnโt see, he still had good eye contact and was able to navigate without a cane. He seems like a very nice person, and he is so lucky to have met both a mayor and an actress!!
I don't know his personal story but it's very common for people who go blind, rather than are born blind, to have really good spacial awareness, eye contact, etc. in that way. Everyone is different, so I'm in no way perpetuating a monolith but that could be part of it.
They were lucky to meet him! ๐
~:~
@@kylovesart also Blindness is actually more like a scale. So if someone is blind it doesnโt necessarily mean theyโre in complete darkness. Sometimes they can see light or movement if itโs directly in front of them. I know someone who is legally blind but they can see light and can detect movement within about 3 feet. So walking down the street they can tell if someone passes directly in front of them but they also have tunnel vision so their field of view is very limited.
he is not born blind so this is understandable..
I think they call this being "legally blind".
I love they way the old man just took the camera and start filming himself and the his group ๐๐๐

I know right, so lucky!!
@@lalina1304 they can be. But in some of our cultures, elders hold a lot of power and respect. We can't really go against what they say. So the elderly literally could pop off and we'd just have to awkwardly accept it because they're our seniors.

@YeahOh "see kindness" doesn't necessarily mean to physically see it, rather, it means to feel kindness. You don't need to see or to hear to know when someone is being kind and good to you and when someone isn't.
@YeahOh I know blind people have a program that transcripts whatever is on the screen as voice, so please don't lie to me.
he's so precious! Even without sight, he sees this world under such a bright light that most of us This video definitely moved me, I was glad to see how kind the people around him were. Although there were a few people who would just stare at him, I'm glad to see him very proud of himself and happy
He is really blind or is acting like this in the video ? ๐
@@noone-ie4pz im pretty sure he's really blind and not just pretending
no one Yeah I was also speculating whether or not because he seemed to be able to move around quite easily but I think he really is - he said he can see 5% of things if up close so heโs probably partially blind. Outside is very bright so he probably can only make out super rough outlines. Not him so Iโm not v sure.
no one Plus when youโve been blind for a while, all ur other senses like perception of space around you and perception of sound sort of become heightened so he was probably relying on those.

Itโs honestly just so nice, how polite everyone is, he said thank you so many times, itโs so nice.
He's so darn cute. I saw the other video with him asking for directions. He's so polite to everyone and I'm glad people are offering him help.
Everyone was so kind in this video ๐ฅบ that part where the elderly man randomly stopped next to him outside and was trying to figure out what Hansol was looking at/speaking to was adorable haha
