The good Lord blessed me with one child, and I went camping when I was 8 months pregnant. I agree with you completely Jessa! Comfortable bedding is critical when you're large with child ๐
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun I'm so happy for you. I just heard that counting on got canceled. I hope it's not true. Your family is so inspiring. I really love watching you all grow and get married and start your own families. It really sucks that one persons actions can ruin things for everyone else. Invest in a port a potty. All camping stores have them. Atleast you know it's clean to sit on. All the best Jessa, may you have a smooth delivery.

You can also purchase an inexpensive pop up tent from Amazon to put the toilet in.
Good idea! We had a cabin but instead of going outside our dad had us use a bucket (with a toilet seat on itโฆ. ) of course this was in the 1960โs!
@@jenaemarieAZ they make 5 gallon bucket toilets now and you line it with plastic bag. I myself would prefer a flushing camping toilet.

Years ago I was camping with my kids and while sleeping we awoke to noise. Some raccoons were on the picnic table eating crumbs from Oreos we had earlier!

I am not one for tent camping, it was a smart move being near the restroom. Definitely making good memories.

The kids singing was so cute. Ivy has the most adorable biggest blue eye. Her curls are so cute. But, I would go camping with a tent as big as yours but I would bring a queen size air mattress for us to sleep on. The kids loved to sleep in their sleeping bags. 2 necessary things when camping is comfortable bedding and pillows and toilets that FLUSH! You're just like me whenever my kids make noises in the tent I always worry they'll wake up other campers. It's absolutely gorgeous where you guys went camping.

That tent is enormous, but it's so great to have a tent you can stand up in! I wonder how it would fair on a windy night. The kids were super adorable as usual. Love watching them!

Thank you for posting this! I am gearing up to take my 3 boys on their first camping trip as well. They are 6,4 and 3 and have been feeling stressed with getting everything together and organizing so this is super encouraging!

We discovered a portable toilet is a must. A bucket with a seat on top. Put a trash bag inside, every time you potty, cover it with cedar chips to prevent smelling. Easy clean up. We do all our business in the bucket. As the kids have grown, we got a separate pop up dome, thatโs perfect for the bucket toilet and a bag of cedar chips. Makes life easy.

Your kids are adorable, and so well behaved. When camping if you get those blow up rafts for swimming, to sleep on it much more comfortable. You are a good sport, camping in your third trimester~ Ivy has beautiful big blue eyes!

I go glamping in a hotel these days ! Camping is to much work for me anymore! Loved camping as a young girl, and thru my 40s their long gone now so glamping is the comfort of a hotel is so much better than tent camping any day! ๐๐๐ I hope you and the family had a great time! I did a practice round camping trip in the backyard 2 weeks ago. The noises of the night had my littles restless. I wanted to practice before we braved a camping trip on the Buffalo. It looks like y'all had a nice time. Those 64 degree night time temps sound pretty amazing right now. Arkansas humidity got me like ๐ฅต

Used to Love camping then caravan and retired and sold caravan.l didnโt go camping until late 40s children were all grown up and flew nest.l only wish I could turn back time.Kids love outdoors and it looked so much fun.xx
My parents never took me camping, always wanted to go. So as much as I don't love it, I do take my kids tent camping. But honestly I don't have much fun. Some parts are fun but I prefer a cruise vacation, lol.

Everyone looked so comfy and peaceful sleeping.I love to camp.We did the tent thing for about a year then invested in a camper.

Loved everything about this video! I donโt do tent camping (spinal issues) but my husband and adult kids do. We live in Alaska and they tent camp as a lot of people do during our short summers. Ivyโs eyes and expressions were just the cutest๐
