When Fern looked up at Jessa, I swear that has to be the most sweetest thing ive ever seen. The look on Ferns face as she stared into her mommys eyes is enough to melt an iceburg. Ive had 2 children of my own and a new grandbaby and they were all adorable and flawless but that sweet little look on her face was priceless and so adorable. She is a cute baby, but then again, Ben & Jessa make gorgeous children. I can't wait to watch Ivy be a big sister and i can't wait to watch Fern come into her looks. I wish we could see what Jingers youngest looks like now that she's older
YES!!! I would LOVE to see Evangeline!!! Wouldn’t have to film her!! Just a “still picture”. would be GREAT around every 3 or 4 mo.’s !!! And it go’s without saying, we’d all like to see Felicity at the same time too!!! Evangeline will be 8 mo.’s in 2 days!!!

I think those are tears of both joy, love, and tears remembering the loss of a baby she experienced. I may be wrong, but as someone who has experienced that loss, I recognize those tears. Congratulations Jessa. Your baby girl is just precious!
Those rainbow baby tears are so special. Their are no word to describe them. Only the Lord can really understand those tears! You can almost feel the Lord holding you during those tears!
Fern is so precious, tears rolling down my cheeks as she looks around, beyond words imagining this is a little human's first sight of the world - and she is so alert already! So much love!
There is something very special about this child. She is engaging minutes after her birth. She was looking at Ben while he was holding her with a look of almost recognition and then when she looked at Jessa, she had a look of adoration. Beautiful baby. What a wonderful family you have. I also noticed that. She was very intuitive. And I thought the same when her and jessa were looking at each other. To the point it gave me goosebumps and almost made me cry. I've never seen a newborn do that.
Yes , she is very alert. I am wondering whether she was a very active baby in the womb. My eldest was very similar. And is gifted with something so special. She is just a bundle of joy and love. She is almost 24 now, her name is Emily Louise. I know she will do great things in Gods name, she has a very special gifting on her life.

Spurgeon is the weirdest name I’ve ever heard. It makes me think anything that ejects/squirts a substandard from itself. That is what the name means, “to clean out or purge”. I’m not trying to rag on Spurgeon because he didn’t chose the name. But couldn’t they call him Geo or Elliot? At least give the kid a chance.

My husband cut the cord and hated it. He still talks about how gross it felt cutting through (essentially) skin. If we have another he will definitely opt out.

I just gave birth five days ago too! First baby he's a boy, I was able to do an unmedicated delivery, and he was 9lbs and 6oz. Giving birth was the most empowering amazing thing I've ever done. Whether its one baby or your fourth, its truly amazing😊congrats on the fourth! May God continue to bless and give strength to all parents out there❤

I had an unmedicated C-section, which was a nightmare. That baby boy is now almost 39 years old and is married and the father of three girls and a son who just turned one!
She's sooo alert! She looks like a 2 month old in how alert and interactive she was when she was awake. My second was like that and she was a chatter box and super extroverted and outgoing now at 12. 😅Congratulations, she's beautiful!
