if you want to know what these things are:
0:00 mung bean pancake (bindaetteok) not sure what the fillings are but looks like maybe a radish filling for savoury and a red bean paste for sweet
6:27 cabbage, carrot, and spring onion slaw w egg sandwich. the one at the end of the clip also has a slice of ham
11:16 korean pancake (hotteok) with black sesame seeds in the dough, filled with cheese and probably a mix of spices and seeds. the hotteok at the end of the clip is filled with glass noodles, mixed vegetables and presumably some kind of stirfry sauce.
15:40 mozarella and american cheese and maybe salami sandwiches with chili sauce, ketchup and mustard, coated in fish paste with bits of carrot and radish, deep fried. they also make a fish paste hotteok filled with gochujang (hot pepper paste) cheese and maybe some kind of meat floss or pork? maybe?
26:23 fish waffles (bungeoppang) with pizza filling, walnut and red bean filling, and custard cream filling
34:40 stir fried beef small intestine (gopchang) cooked in chili oil with cabbage, chewy rice cake (tteokkbokki), gochujang, glass noodles and perilla leaves. they also make the same thing with blood sausage (sundae) later in the clip
44:21 rice and seaweed rolls (gimbap) filled with fishcake (eomuk), american cheese, ham, crab stick, yellow pickled radish (danmuji), topped with tuna? with vegetables and glass noodles and soy sauce peppers on the side
50:11 spam, sausage, bean sprout, spring onion, kimchi - rice bowl with kimchi, beef stew, fish eggs, stir fried bean sprouts, sausage, spring onion, tripe, spam, fried egg, they offer lots of additives such as duck, shrimp stew, corn etc
53:33 egg bread (gyeran-ppang)
58:20 balloon bread (gonggal-ppang) with sesame seed brown sugar cinnamon filling
1:04:40 octopus balls (japanese: takoyaki) with standard toppings
1:15:00 chrysanthemum bread (flower shaped popover? filled with custard cream or red bean paste)
1:22:21 egg with radish cabbage carrot and spring onion topped with sugar pickles onions cabbage ham ketchup cheese chili sauce and mustard on toast
1:25:00 bungeoppang again, with custard cream filling
1:33:00 napa cabbage, perilla leaf, kimchi, green onion pancakes
1:41:56 dumplings with meat or kimchi and vegetables with glass noodles
1:50:40 various kinds of sundae and organ meats
2:00:14 hotteok again this time with cinnamon brown sugar and seed filling
2:08:00 oreo marshmallow waffle
2:11:11 sosig w cabbage slaw and corn cheese
2:15:00 more blood sosig and organ m33ts
Thanks a lot, I had no idea what the first stuff could be, but now I know π
Thank you so much for providing explanations on what the different foods are!! It was a great help - very much appreciated.
11:16 I think that's brown sugar and nuts, a classic hotteok filling
Thank you

much respect. with only a griddle these cooks make better food than I can manage in my kitchen with all the modern conveniences. they make it look so easy.
Itβs because a lot of our food popular street foods originate from after the war so most were simple and made from necessity, a lot of the recipes have changed since then obviously though.
I saw on a show where they were having a new kitchen put in and wanted a large griddle
I just happened to come across thisβ¦. Canβt stop watching it. π.
I'm the same. I can't understand why people will eat some of the things we do? One thing about this food is it might look good but not even a gun pointed at me would make any of it look pleasant or make me want to eat it, I'd take the bullet first. Another thing is what's with so much oil?
@@susanmiller6023 I don't understand; what is wrong with the food?

It takes a lot of skill to do what those people do. You have to be good with your hands. And to think that some of those people do that all day long, several hours a day. I would be so drained and exhausted. Bless their hearts.
