@@shaanp9796 I’m Scottish, which is part of Britain so when people say “British accent” specifically meaning London instead of Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, or northern England (each of which have lots of sub-accents) its kind annoying
But mostly just cause I would want to be told that too if I was being ignorant about something related to America, like saying an “American accent” when talking about California 🙂

I've been waiting YEARS for someone to address this specific line in the song. Its always bothered me that an astronaut doesn't understand and its just his job 5 days a week 😡
This is hilarious, but all kidding aside, I remember reading that this was intentional! The idea was that in the future, space travel would no longer be a highly technical profession but would get routinized and carried out by less-skilled, alienated, ordinary working people.
I love the song but the line about not understanding the science and just a job always bothered me when I thought about it literally
