When Kvatch was destroyed, I came outside wearing the clothes and jewelry of its deceased leader to deadpan tell the soldier that told me to rescue him that he was "lying face down in a pool of blood".

I remember watching my brother play Morrowind when I was little, he stole everything in this shopkeeper’s home and tried to sell it all back to him, one item he couldn’t sell back was a bowl. Every time he tried to sell it to him the shopkeeper would say something like “I’m not buying that, that’s my bowl!”

Drayloth became so distraught at Jacob's actions that not only did he change his ways, he became a mentor to help other enemies to change their ways as well
He realized that if somebody without a red health bar was doing the same things he, an enemy, was doing, then he didn't have to do those things.
Nothing humbles me more than knowing that all of the soundscape is from Oblivion, even the UI. It's perfect.

He says he killed "bandits & a dog" in this episode, so I think that's legitimately the reason he was in there in the first place.
Technically speaking he was just born and should be treated as having the kind of a baby. He was born in prison of all places, then given a sword, what did you expect was gonna happen.
To be fair, *"DRAYLOTH THE MUTILATOR, DESTROYER OF WORLDS AND END OF DAYS"* doesn't seem like the ideal first encounter.
Could just be hyping himself up. Calls himself that so people wouldn't assume he's got brittle bone disease or that he's too poor to afford a weapon.
Probably one of those games where the Big Bad or one of his lieutenants show up and beats/chase the crap out of you in the first chapter.
It's a scripted early game must lose boss fight.
He's had plenty of practice. That rat and an immediate ambush from a hideous ghoul.

I once killed a guy this way in Skyrim, he came running at me and I beheaded him. Turned out he was a side-quest NPC.
It happens to me often in Fallout NW/F4, but due to guns simply being able to deliver death the moment i spot something.
Like the most agregious one is in Fallout New Vegas honest heart, you get ambushed by tribals armed with ranged weapons and the moment you frag the last one, a friendly one (Who looks extremely similar to them at distance) charges to you. So he gets a bullet in the skull the moment he pops up and now i failed the entire questline of Honest Hearts.
Atleast wave arms or something, or my itchy trigger might send you to the afterlife too.
If you had those legion guys as an enemy, I actually see how that could happen. Haha

@@mrvex6695 I haven't played much of New Vegas but the way friendly NPC's can charge at you to initiate conversation combined with how difficult combat is as a whole is a recipe for a disaster, haha.

@@Vistresian1941 many reasons, such as but not limited to: Being too young to know the difference, bad education, bad parenting, never realising the difference, english not being their main language, and various other factors like auto spell being a dick and etc.
@@Vistresian1941 simple: they're similar in spelling, pronunciation and meaning and are even derived from the same wordstem both by adding a suffix.
Exhaustion can be enough for someone to overlook it, and frankly no one was actually awake when that was explained at school :D
