100,000 Subscribers and My Favorite Things I Watched in 2020

I closed out last year with a long winded ramble about my favorite things that I watched that year and I want to make that an annual tradition. As one of the many people who came to your channel because of the animations, this is definitely the right attitude to have. People have found and stayed for the comedy and video making you already have- you've rightfully recognized that you don't need to force yourself or chase a trend when you've already found success with what you like and what you're comfortable with.

The best part about your channel being a "late bloomer" is that everyone finding it (including me) now has so much stuff to discover and binge through. Your animations are great but there are some hidden gems in your live action stuff that I guarantee are going to blow up as well!

Aside from your very unique and great humour, you and your friends are very good at acting.
It's also a great approach you take in not forcing any video. Especially time consuming videos. Burnouts can happen so easily unfortunately.

Seeing 8 years of film making being discovered and shared by thousands of people (well millions of people in some cases) is a really unique and touching experience. I've been binge-watching through the backlog the last few days with slowly working through all the feature films being next on my list and it's really awesome to have so much left to see.
Joel, the grit and genuine determination you've shown over the years is crazy and I can only imagine that it all paying off in such a monumental fashion is... well fucking scary as shit. You hit the nail on the head of *exactly* my sense of humor; you rarely (if ever) make jokes at the expense of other people or generalisations, most of your skits are about specific types of people and personalities that we've all known or encountered in our lives at some point, or making fun of silly tropes and recurring themes in video games and movies; even down to the way people talk or the cinematography.
And speaking of cinematography, your's is excellent. The framing, lighting, and pacing of almost every scene is great; and the continuity between cuts even when you're the only actor in one of your films is spot on.
