Looked like he was just having fun up there. I don't understand what the big deal is. Sometimes you just want to climb up on a pile of rocks. And like, why even is there a pile o' rocks just sitting there? Ya know, just waiting for someone to scale it and have fun all the way up there? Seems like whoever put it there in the first place also had fun up there too. And wanted to l, ya know, share the fun. What a nice, fun guy, that guy must have been. Ya know?

what if I told you the earth is just a giant pile of gravel that hasn't been broken up yet
But it’s everywhere
The pile just grew under him. He was standing on the road and tiny pieces of rock suddenly started arriving from all over, congregating near him. He didn't know how to react, and honestly, who would? Using his confusion, several dozens of very flat rock pieces subducted under his shoes' soles. They gently uplifted him, opening area for more gravel to collect under him. He tried jumping, but the collective gravelmind could read his mind and rocks formed walls around him faster than he could possibly react.
By the time the hill formed, it was too late. It's not that he didn't want to get down: he couldn't. The man had lost all semblance of a human will. He and the gravel had become one.
The man we see at the end of the video is nothing but a walking projection of the former man. He will walk among us and will talk with us, but his only mission is to infiltrate human society and lure more people to the next place the heap will form.
The hill is still small, having had consumed just a few hundred people. The seed has been sowed, and it is only a matter of time until its exponential dispersion consumes us all.
There is nothing you can do. The fact you just read about the gravel's existence doesn't mean you can prepare and defend against it. Oh no, it simply means that you will spend the short rest of your miserable life awaiting the inevitable. The guy in the video was from the lucky ones, he didn't see it coming, but you will know. Your fear will only make your consumption by the heap all the more pleasant for them. Just remember that the rocks WILL come for you.

I love humour of all kinds, over 20 years, from Atkinson to M. Python, national comedians and skits, Robot Chicken, Whose Line is it, Newgrounds, Zufall, Weebl's, Simpsons, Family Guy, Police Squad, Allo! Allo!, Fawlty Towers, Friends etc.
I like to think something has rubbed off on me (still in the context of humour now), but I still wouldn't had had a better reply if I so spent 5 minutes figuring it out.

I'm a pretty big fan of the reenactment scene of you two finding a random piece of paper on the ground that you agreed beforehand to pretended to use it as a script, but then Joel forgetting about all of that make believe script stuff, and reminding Trent you never use scripts and Trent saying "yeah, I know but we were pretty lucky to find this random piece of paper to pretend to use as a script" followed by the reenactment of finding the piece of paper because how else would that crazy story about finding a piece of paper on the ground for that exact purpose make any sense at all to us viewers? You really went and did us all a real solid here thank you both so much.

worst part is when i was younger, i did get hurt on a similar hill of gravel, in all fairness, it was bigger, with bigger rocks in it. and i decided, hey lets climb behind one of my friends as they step on a massive rock and split my head open. sat in the ER for around 3 hours before they realised i was bleeding out because someone who was with us before had cut their foot open on glass at the same place, and they thought my mother was there for them again.

I don't know what it is, but there is something just amazingly special with this one. Out of all of your videos this one has got to be my favorite. From the initial skit, to the 4th wall break, and then said to hell with the other 3 walls.

Something about this video and the way they move is unnerving
It's a very slight uncanny valley effect, probably due to them improvising somewhat on purpose moving like goofs. You can see examples of that in shows like on Adult Swim
I've heard people talking about the sequel, saying good things in fact. It's actually quite rare that a film is bested by its sequel, but some really need that time to grow into what they will eventually become. Like the movie Thor - The Dark World.

This was the craziest transition from a movie scene to reality i've ever seen.
I don’t know why but honestly it’s the tone and pacing of your videos that I just love and on top of it I just enjoy the sound of your voice because it somehow matches the tone and pacing of the videos to make something just really enjoyable to watch and on top of that I really like the dry improvised comedy which just adds another layer to it all.
All kidding aside, Ralphie should really get down from there or he might get seriously hurt.
