You know how there are restaurants where the waiters insult and make fun of you and that's part of it? Imagine going home with your date and she's like "Man those waiters were TERRIBLE! I don't know how I held my tongue but you looked like you were enjoying yourself" and you have to say "no that was an act."

But seriously, I think being ace made this even more funny than it already was because it's r e l a t a b l e, you know? Fucking hilarious seriously. And the acting was really good! Especially the woman, I'm impressed.
Happy to hear it was relatable! A Jeff could save all of us a lot of trouble. Ruby killed it in this one, I had a version of the opening using a bunch of different shots and cuts, but she did such a good job in the one shot that I wound up just using the full thing.

I really wish for you to get somewhere with your art because the amount of practice you're getting is insane and it's bound to give you opportunities eventually (if it hasn't already). I'm a sound engineer myself, have been working on movies and video games for a few years and I'm gathering the money to get a degree in sound design, cause that's what I'd love to do above all. So I'm very familiar with the production cycle of movies and short/medium films, and I find it impressive how much you're managing to do. Do you do this full time? Or do you have a job/studies and this is a side-project that you have to take time off your schedule to manage?

I really love the undertone behind this video that Joel's character is kind of jealous of Jeff. He tried once, it didn't go well, and now he's afraid to get out of his comfort zone and try again. He relies on Jeff to satiate his partner because he's afraid.

I mean, I think it's a bit uncomfortable for Joel's character, given the expectation of sex in our society, but I don't think he's genuinely afraid of sex in it of itself, it's just not for him. Like there's a difference between just not really liking alcohol, versus just being afraid of alcohol. He relies on Jeff to satiate his partner's needs, but he himself feels content to check his credit score.
