I wish Colleen would see this. I am 36 and I have been pregnant 3 times. I vomited 6 times in one day once. I vomited all 9 months. Girl, I did ivf NINE times to get pregnant and had a stillbirth and a miscarriage and finally had my little girl. Just because I struggled to get preggo does not make pregnancy not hard. Just because I struggled to get preggo does not mean that someone cannot talk about their struggles related to pregnancy. I am so sorry that women have shamed you for sharing your journey because your journey is just as worth sharing as someone who struggled to get pregnant.

I am very grateful that you guys are talking about this. My mom told me she hated to be pregnant with me. She thought her pregnancy was going to be magical but she was sick all the time, and until the last moment she was sick, dizzy, felt hurt (almost fell from the balcony) and she was happy when it was over. She loved me as I am and that I was born but the whole process was a pain. People didn't understand her and thought she was making everything over dramatic, but its true. Every and each women have different experiences and we shouldn't judge and shame.
My mom hated pregnancy and people said she was ungreatful. But it's painful and not liking pregnancy doesn't mean she doesn't like her child and people don't understand.

I'm 5 months pregnant, and yesterday while I was serving at the restaurant I work at a customer straight up called me fat. My response "well your stomach does grow while you're pregnant." I was shocked that a stranger would say that to my face.

I hate to say this, but the hate and body shaming and guilt just gets worse from here. Look at how many articles or magazines you see about celebrity's getting their "body back" really quickly after having a baby. Kate Middleton coming out of the hospital looking better than me on my best day... there is this pressure to get thin again quickly, getting your baby to sleep through the night quickly while also breastfeeding exclusivley and holding them constantly, etc. Then the questions of when you will have the next kid. Thank you, Joey for highlighting this very real issue. As a mother to 3 children I really appreciate it.
I agree. The pressure never stops unfortunately. Everybody parents differently. And everyone should respect people's choices of 1 kids, 5 kids, co-sleeping, sleep training, nursing, formula, etc.

I have a baby brother that was born tiny and he was also born with diabetes, he almost died that night but managed to survive. It was a rough day for my mother, I’ll make sure I’ll keep this in mind when I’m babysitting my baby brother, thanks again for the help!

It's really terrible that she is getting that amount of hate. People just suck. She's allowed to say that she's feeling miserable. It doesn't mean that she isn't grateful to be pregnant. Pregnancy is very hard. My first pregnancy i was sick up until the day i had my daughter. I was absolutely miserable. My feet were so swollen i couldn't fit my shoes. And she's right. We shouldn't be made to feel guilty for expressing how we are feeling. Whether pregnant or not. I think she will be an amazing mother!!!

Joey did the sweetest empathetic thing ever and I'm sure Colleen must have felt so so in relief n happiness
I was sick the entire pregnancy. I ended up having my son 5 weeks early bc my blood pressure rose so high that I ended up siezing, so it was an immediate C section. I almost died. I've gotten hate from so many people just for having a C section. They don't even take the time to learn that if I hadn't, I would have died, and so would my son. Pregnancy varies from woman to woman. It isn't something that should be up for debate. As long as a woman isn't purposely causing harm to herself and her baby, then leave her tf alone. The people treating Colleen so harshly honestly shouldn't even be allowed to be on the internet. Shame on yall.

How can people hate on you for having had a C-section? I mean, what would they even find to say? "You had no right to choose to save your baby's life as well as your own"?
That's messed up. My step sister had to have a C-section because if she didn't her and the baby would have died and that's really sad that's why she had the C-section. You shouldn't get hate for that stuff you should get love for that stuff people should help you through that and not hate you for that

I have 5 children. I was told by a woman after I had my first that I wasn't really a mom because I had an emergency c-section, and didn't experience real labor... My other 4 were all vbac, and I've done it with an epidural as well as without. My first was formula fed (has galactosemia, and couldn't breastfeed), and I was shamed for that. He was circumcised because "it's gross not to circumcise" (you'll be judged and shamed about that no matter what). My second was breastfeed for 3 months. I was shamed by the pediatrician because she was colicy, and he blamed my breastmilk, told me to start supplementing with formula. Did that, and baby got constipated. Doctor said it was my fault because I was "confusing her tummy with breastmilk and formula", so I stopped breastfeeding. I was able to breastfeed №3 and №4 for 28 and 27 months, respectively. Was shamed for that, because that was "too long to breastfeed". №5 is currently a 19 months old little boy that is still breastfeeding, and uncircumcised, and I get judged and shamed for that too, because "you shouldn't breastfeed boys past 12 months", and "he's going to notice he's different 'down there' than his brother and dad".... You will be judged and/or shamed no matter what you do. You can't take it to heart, or it will make you a miserable person... As long as you do what makes YOU happy and what YOU feel us in the best interest of your child (ren), you will be fine. I think you're an amazing person, Colleen (and Joey, for shining a light on this dark part of the mom/parent community), and you are going to be an amazing mommy! ❤️

I personally can't have children but I still love hearing about Colleens pregnancy and everything she is going through, it makes me so happy. I have watched her for years and years and I love seeing her go through this experience and seeing all the videos of the ultrasounds and reveals. And I actually had people get so disgusted with me and request a new waitress. because I was pregnant... I'm just like you skinny and petite with just a tummy. I still gave the same amount of service. I was disgusted buy mostly men's judgement... oh great. We got the pregnant one can we please have another server??? .. I only gained 38 pounds during my pregnancy. But yet I cannot believe people stereotyping and being judge..

Thank you for sharing Joey. Pregnancy is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and it’s truly sad that we’re told to shut up and sit down and be grateful for this miracle. Like, yes it is a miracle that we have a baby growing inside of us but pregnancy is difficult. Like Colleen said about the guilt we already have, it’s so true. Mom guilt just being pregnant is hard and in fact it’s harder than when you have the baby because you are literally their only source of nutrition and you are the reason the breathe so it’s definitely difficult to get the mom shaming as a pregnancy mom. I love you Colleen!💕 & Joey!
Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's crazy to me how vast the experiences being a pregnant woman can be. I literally found pregnancy to be a walk in the park and loved every single minute of it. Once my baby was born I found it 100000000X times harder than being pregnant. Having a newborn was literally the hardest thing I have ever had to do and the thought of having another one scares the crap out of me haha.

I have watched colleen weekly for 6 years. I am SO over the moon she is pregnant, and in this 6 years I was pregnant and now have a 3 year old. Seeing Colleen go thru exactly what I did is almost like reliving my pregnancy and the pain and emotions. I was given so much hate for being pregnant and the questions, critisism, everything. I cant imagine what Collen is going through as in the public eye. Pregnancy IS A MIRACLE. It is not fun and games, It is HARD WORK and the hardest thing a women will do. She is a TROOPER for deaing with public opinion. I hope this video quiets those who have shamed her or been cruel. I am beyond shocked and saddened. Let her be happy.

Why would someone HATE on a pregnant personal which is going through so much being pregnant dose have a down side and makes you feel sick but it doesn't mean your ungrateful for this miracle
Okay, so we get asked when we gonna have a child all the time, but when women do get pregnant they get hate. When we say the boys have it easier, we dont mean that what yall go through is easy, we just seem that ours is harder in our opinions. We have blood pouring out of us one week in each month trying to not get stains on anything, trying not to smell and wearing uncomfortable things that cost so much (pads, tampons, ect,.) Also dont froget those freakin horrible cramps and more things, Then getting pregnant is also hard, like Colleen said, you get sick 24/7 and people hate. We go through that for 9 months and our organs get spread out to grow a baby in our stomach, then birth it out and so many other things. WE ARE HUMAN, we feel pain, we are uncomfortable, we feel sick, we feel ashamed, we should be able to complain.

Jorja Griffiths don't be afraid to ask your mum, sister, aunty or friends who have already started theirs or even your teacher and definitely be prepared as it will come whenever it likes because I got my period last year in the middle of school but didn't have anything as I took it out everything from my bag thinking I wouldn't get it for a while. even make a pouch that fits in your pocket with everything needed(pads, a heat pack, chocolate, etc.) so just in case it does come you're ready. when it comes if you have cramps or it's heavy and your normally very active run around as it lightens your period and loosens your muscles so it's not as comfortable. hope that helps

I’m 15, I know I’m young but I love watching her videos and I like to hear people talk about what they feel and what they’re going through. I know not everyone my age is like that but no ones forcing them to watch her videos.
I think it's more of the people who are immature. I'm almost 14 and I appreciate this type of stuff and the people going through it yet I know there's people out there collens age or a little younger talking crap and stuff it's the people who weren't told what's right and what's wrong to do, what to say and what not to say those type of stuff but little kids can also be easily grossed out so I'm sure there's younger kids who have said some disrespectful things as well

I went through so much in my pregnancy I didn't have any friends there for me I am a single mother and went through my pregnancy alone.. I am mommy and daddy. A few years ago I suffered a condition that made me not be able to go to the toilet for a 2 it took about 25 days each time and it made me a bit fatter than before the condition. In my class my BEST FRIENDS still just cos I'm a little bit fat. It made me soooooo shameful. After what like 3 years people are still shaming me, giving me grief but I couldn't help it. I got sooo much hate for my body shape "Oh, why r u soo fat at our age ur supposed to be thin" when in my class there are people who are fatter than me and they are the people that help out other people shame me. Like if you agree I shouldn't me shamed
At the beginning of my pregnancy, people always said that I looked too small and that I must not be eating enough for my baby. Then once I hit my second trimester, I got huge over night. All of a sudden it changed to me being too big, gaining too much weight, not being able to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. The last month my belly got really square instead of round because my daughter liked to stretch out all day, and people thought something was wrong with my baby. The last trimester I was so miserable, but no one wanted to listen to how I felt, or how I was in pain or hoe emotional I was. The headaches alone were enough to drive me crazy. Pregnancy is hard, and it is beautiful. People will always judge you as a parent and it's hard. Try to take it in stride, keep your chin up, you are not alone. 💞💞💞

Ugh, that's awful. People seem to think you're public property when you're pregnant. They can comment on everything you're doing and how it may negatively impact the baby. I hate it so much.
When Joey was talking to Colleen I could see that she is upset and people don’t understand, pregnancy is very magical for the mother especially it’s Colleens first pregnancy other people who’s never been pregnant don’t complain about other pregnant women because there life they choose what they eat , drink anything so Colleen I know you won’t read this but your amazing, beautiful and perfect your gonna be an amazing mother to your child 💕💕❤️❤️
