Seeing all this work going into this film made me realize what a gut punch it must be for the people working on this movie to hear people trashing on this so much. Don’t get me wrong, I think the criticism is valid, I just feel bad for the honest people who put so much work into something like this only for it to turn out so disappointing

I think the sets and costumes and everything but the singing was good. They really did not do good with the singing and dancing and everything to do with music. The actors doing whatever they wanted during routines was not helpful at all and I think that’s what makes the movie so bad.

I absolutely love this! When we got into the choreography of cat movements I was totally into it. I grew up watching the 1998 CATS - the Musical. I loved it so much. Still do. I studied the songs and lyrics, the dances and postures and costumes and makeup. I was obsessed. My parents would come home from work and I'd be in the living room dancing to the moves and singing at the top of my lungs. With my grandparents I was 13 and they had a patio area out in the garage. So that was a lot of room for dancing. I was so upset when my VHS broke 5 years later. But my cousin got me the DVD as a wedding gift 10 years ago. I am so excited to see this new adaptation. Just sad I'll be seeing by myself because everyone in my life is so over my CATS - the Musical obsession and has been for a long time 😹😿😻
