Okay, fully aware that I'm taking this far too seriously but, you sort of do. If you see a meme once and it's funny, you laugh and might share it, but if you've seen the exact same meme a second time you probably won't laugh and share it, so you're sort of immune if you think of laughing and sharing as "being infected and contagious".

I think he meant more the meme format than the meme itself. If you've seen shocked pikachu face once in one context, and it's funny, it will still be funny the second time you see it in a different context-- it might even be funniER.

Thank you for working hard and being inventive to keep us entertained while you keep safe as well! I've never thought about it before, but I guess memes are actually a pretty sophisticated form of humour. While they crack me up on the daily, it's hard to explain to my parents what exactly is so funny about them. In a way I think you need to see many to actually internalize the humour or something...? That's why you probably should show Ollies dad more memes; I'll surely be here to watch it haha!
